That other map is flower dance, it doesn't look or play nearly as ridiculously when it's not at that low AR, i think it's easiest around 10.3 or maybe even 10.5 but the default is 9 and at first i couldn't play that at all~ all of those dota/league osu players lol, most of them are like rank 50k. The best one i've seen was had some plays like golden sky dt fc but with 90-92% acc good publicity, but the few people i have talked to who have watched them have difficulty seeing the gap between a 5k and 50k player in osu | ||

And i still think the map is timed wrongly, but I couldn't get my finger on it exactly. Btw, isnt the dota player on the left doing big black? You can't be all bad if you can play that without completely embarrassing yourself live. And it's good to see osu getting more popular.  Although I did meet some toxic people in mp yesterday for the first time ever. I hope that's not going to be the downside. | ||

Although I did meet some toxic people in mp yesterday for the first time ever. I hope that's not going to be the downside. Toxic in what way? Dota players tend to be toxic, but I'm not sure why they would be more toxic than osu players in osu. At least you don't have teammates to blame if you suck at osu.  | ||

Mouse acceleration off, Windows sensitivity 6/11 (I assume that's already already the case). Tap with keyboard if you aren't already. Get a nice custom skin if you haven't already. I think that's about it. | ||

I'm largely just using this for improving my mouse accuracy - or more so, simply trying to train my mind to use the mouse at full speed most of the time. I have a bad habit of playing "down" to the speed of the game where you can't really do anything in the beginning to keep your speed up (like BW compared to LoL). For me, it makes it hard to transition from different gameplay speeds, but when I play Osu to warm up I tend to automatically gravitate towards a higher paced style. If that makes any sense to you. | ||

There was one player who was seriously good though. He was only 17k rank, but got 1k combo on caramelldansen by star stream. Getting that isn't as special, but 1k during multiplayer is pretty nice. I barely won that one (just missed a few notes later than him because i misread a stream of sliders >.>). owerpower was his account. Haha, that Illidan has like half his plays in his top played maps adding up to 20k? Like wtf, how is that even fun? :') | ||

Also, fuck those expanding back and forth jumps in airman. If not for those and the ending, I'd have passed it a long time ago. As it stands I'll probably never pass it since I just plain don't put enough time into standard any more. On the bright side, I'm still slowly improving at mania. | ||

It's more that I feel it's completely ineffective, looking at how long I have been able to play Airman, compared to how long i think my aim has been genuinely 'good'. I agree @yorbon the timing on that flower dance map seemed kinda ok to me, but it has a lot of sections where it just does HALF BEAT SINGLE TAPS OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN and i have trouble timing them in general. It's a bit like Nyan Nyan Drive. My cam is out for delivery, i will probably do a stream with it when i get it! after testing out 60/120fps. Could be 10 minutes or a matter of hours 3 hours and 9 minutes later, why can't we just have the option to pick up packages ourselves lol it's half a mile away~~ i've been awake for liiike.. 17 hours now, so i'm through the ~13-15 hour period of walking around with one eye closed and half a second reaction times at least :D edit2: got it, testing now :D | ||
