i spun very fast at the end too, at least for first half of spinner. I don't usually peak to 420-430 on tablet but the number got up there for a second a couple of times, not very stable though. Avg under 400 i think

If you don't have the map, download it now. It's hard rythmically, large jumps and 276 bpm. I got the map a few months ago and i couldn't see anything then.

this handcam looks insane/awesome IMO, the map is really hard but probably relax+dt fcable with a bit of practice. The handcam here looks almost robotic on 30fps, but on 60fps you can see a lot more of the imperfections and wobbling. Note to self: Make super impressive recordings at 20fps and not 120fps

That part at 3:45 - 4:10 was the hardest. Overall i mostly had trouble with moving off circles too early or mis-timing on the big chains of half beats, it took a lot of focus and that 1 break after quite a few attempts to be able to do it. It would have been substantially easier on ar9.5 i think, but i'm trying to improve and push reading ability at all levels

I FC'd the hardest part of this map with relax, didn't even realize at the time. If this gets adjusted to od8 and ranked, it's probably something like 230pp for SS.. nomod. This is DT :D

these rankings are even more bullshit than standard, since apparently they didn't separate votes per game mode, so if someone liked this in standard, it counted towards the map's ranking in mania. This is probably the single worst ranked mania map. I mean, Imperishable Night 2006 is pretty awful, and shouldn't even be ranked, considering it's extremely heavily based on a BMS chart with some sections rearranged, but I don't think it's even as bad as Monster.
It really is unbelievable how stupid the top 10 is this year.

Tag maps don't give pp anymore. Damn, can't believe they unranked all of those maps. I see why though when tom said he fc'd all of the patterns on one map nomod, and if he did it all at once it would give over 1k PP.

I can understand saying that AiAe's fun, but still bad. The thing is, I don't think Spy actually understands the mapping in AiAe. He's certainly nowhere near good enough to play it (He's rank ~5k. I'm rank ~600 and I can't play SHD yet). The SHD diff was created for stepmania. The stepmania community has been around WAY WAY longer than osu!, let alone o!m, and has figured out how to make difficult charts that play well years ago. Spy even says the map is fun (which I consider to be the single most important thing about a map, from both the player and mapper's perspectives).
Spy says it's easy to make hard maps. I wholeheartedly disagree. It might be easy to make a garbage dumpmap that plays like shit, but it's a whole lot harder to figure out how to arrange highly dense patterns so that they actually feel good to play. In mania, it's common for difficult patterns to be difficult to understand if you can't play them, because of the layering multiple rhythmic elements together in the patterns. For example, if I look at a 6.5 star or higher o!m map, I might legitimately have difficulty figuring out all the patterns without opening it in the editor and playing the song at 50% or something. I have a feeling Spy is shitting on AiAe just because he doesn't understand the patterns at all.
I wouldn't give a shit if he was just another mapper, but when BATs/QATs have restrictive ideas of how people should be mapping, I start to care. It's getting harder and harder to rank difficult beatmaps in mania. I'm getting sick of being able to get 97%+ with DT on half the maps being ranked. I'm sick of seeing only like 1 good map ranked in a month. And Spy is just one part of why that's happening.
