edit: Ok this really doesn't mean much but ever since I first played this song I wanted to FC it. After not playing for a really long time I manage to do it on my 2nd real try today, so its not really a hard song. It just feels good to FC an old favorite, especially a long one...also, fuck those sliders. If you've played this song enough times you'll know the ones I'm talking about, that's where the -1 comes from. | ||

People always make the argument "well if nobody said anything in the map thread, then the skin must be ok!" There's over a million osu players, there's bound to be people who haven't seen the god damn map thread that have a hard time seeing things with that skin or bg. "If you don't like the skin, don't play the map" is another bullshit argument. Why should I have to sacrifice playing a song I might enjoy just because I can't see what the fuck is going on? Why does peppy even allow for people to have custom skins if any asshole mapper can just overwrite them with random terrible skin #23413984724 in their map folder? tl;dr fuck this game | ||

Though yes I completely agree here. What's worse is that they can also specify the default theme as the map's theme, so you don't get an interesting skin, but you still don't get to pay with your custom skin (although replacing the default skin used to work, it appears that may not work any more after a few of the recent updates). | ||

But instead most people (and I used to be guilty of this too when I used to map) pick colors that are the same as elements from the background, as if it's a thematic thing or something, which leads to the "can't see shit" problem. I don't know why there isn't a "high contrast mode" slider for color blind people and people who just can't see anything in some maps, the slider in the fun spoilers thing only affects the background and not the combo colors and does a poor job at that until you play the song once and can get the 90% dim option. And don't even get me started on kiai time. | ||

most annoying sessions is when im about to FC a map, prolly around 98-99% acc and my hand goes "DERRRRRR" and i fail the last spinner, sitting with an A-rank left. fml. | ||
