Anyways, who else thinks Terminal is RETARDEDLY one-sided? Like, if a team pulls top spawn, they can just sit it out and pick you off as you charge. I've never won a HC TDM from the bottom spawn. | ||

But yeah, I would say there is at least a solid advantage to spawning top on terminal with teams that are relatively even in skill. | ||

If you can pull off the ninja up-the-gut and disrupt their setup while the rest of the team flanks you can take the top spawn. But having that level of coordination just doesn't happen in pubs. | ||

Why hardcore is bad: MW2 is a game where the defender wins. Camping and holding down areas are too easy in MW2 and once you are ahead a good team of players will do just that. Really stupid trying to fight when you cannot possibly hope to clear their contain. | ||

As for Hardcore, it doesn't take any more or less skill than core. You have to play more carefully in hardcore, that is all. Someone mentioned that a sniper in hardcore will kill you five times over. That is exactly why people say HC takes no skill. There is no way to counter a good sniper. It places too much emphasis on the defense. Trying to run and gun in hardcore is like playing a low level TvP game, much easier for the opposition. It all depends on what you consider skilled though. I consider skill in a shooter to be the people who run and gun constantly and have dead on aim. I have seen in some killcams of people shooting me in the back to be spraying EVERYWHERE, only to land the kill after missing 12 shots. I can only imagine how much more of that skill-lessness goes on in hardcore where people only need to shoot you once. Overall, I just think it takes more skill to get shot, turn around and own someone after they had the upper hand than to sit around camping and making whoever sees the other first win the battle. | ||

HC isn't all about camping... people do it more, but you certainly don't win on just camping. Estate isn't half as hard as you guys make it out to be to break. One sniper down low picking window people (you can easily clear out the front steps) and come up from the flanks. It's all patience. | ||
