Theoritically the second since I have trade skills that reduces taxes and fees. It should approach around 5M in taxes max. It depends on your need of cash actually (and maybe the market did flinch a bit I dunno) | ||

Either that or you have no idea how to fit the ship, which is realistically the most likely senario despite the fact that there are plenty of people able to help you with that. If I recall correctly, the last person I gave maelstrom fitting advice to decided to not use it at all. He promptly died in a fire to poor trigger management when the beginner fit I attempted to get him to use wouldve saved him easily due to its massive tank. | ||

If I had a few million more skill points and better equipment, like thermo and better engineering skills + some tech 2 stuff I'm missing, I might have been fine, but, alas, I don't. Although, I am going to get those skills before I step into a mach. Normally I would have used a 2nd boost amplifier instead of the mwd for the mission I died in, but I was just in a different mission where I needed the mwd (The score), and didn't swap it out. It wasn't my mission that I lost it in this time, I was just going to go in at 100, get aggro, and keep it for a minute while Zenith finished the mission, since he whelped his drake in it a few minutes earlier. The 2nd boost amplifier might have helped, but I died before I could even align out, so I might have had 2 boost cycles in total, so I don't think that it would have saved me. Bad drone skills and a bad fit were responsible for the death of my first mael though (although, to be fair, my fit wasn't that bad, the main change I had to make was changing one of my rigs). I wanted to get T2 drones before stepping into my mael, but I got impatient and did it in the opposite order, and promptly lost my mael after 5 or 6 missions lol. | ||

Your terrible fit is to blame for your death, not your lack of skills. And yes, the fit was that bad. Never fit resist rigs to a pve mael, use specific hardners, never use a prop mod if your new unless the mission basically requires it (the score) and even then use an afterburner so you can still maintain a decent amount of capacitor. Ideally you want to get to a point where you know what your doing and dont need the cap booster. Cap maintenance and trranversal are what you need to learn, also how to properly fit your ship. 3 mission specific hardeners, 1 shield booster, 1 shield boost amp and 1 cap booster is all you need in your mids. For the score drop a hardner for an afterburner. Specific hardners will do far more than invulns and resist rigs. | ||
