Today: the logontrap i was happy exploring my way and warped into a radar site, startet clearing the rats when probes were droped on me. got 2-3 cycled and hat to warp of to a safe. as they wouldnt leave local i decided to go afk and make some food. about 30min later local was empty except someone who wasnt in their corp nor alliance. i undocked and warped back to my site. while in warp local +3 and i already had a bad feeling. they landed in the site nearly the same time as me (maybe 1-2 sec later). i got pointed and sadly both myrm and drake were in web range upon landing. i tried to keep the myrm away from me me with my web and shot at the drake so i may force him off before i broke but even with both invulns and AB heated it wasnt enough. fml i had no more quafe with me because i used it before to escape another situation. -1 tengu at least i ejected and didnt lose 3d of traning ... again -.- looks like im back on drakes even for exploration too. dont know what i could have done different except leaving the system all together after i got chased in there. oh and bring more than one quafe when going further away from sara to explore! even when i want to avoid pvp i somehow manage to suck and be bad ![]() | ||

kwark i didnt know that its three t1 bcs at first. when i was probed and local spiked i gtfo cause i didnt want to risk beeing caught by a rapier+falcon+ whatever dps again and i didnt know what was in the systems around me (first time i went exploring in the area). but you are somewhat right, a better idea would probably have been to get distance from the site, like 80k off and wait what they bring. but after all my recent losses i didnt want to take chances and decided to avoid a fight so i could continue bearing later on. didnt work out to well ... | ||

We even use LASERS to kill other PEOPLE, like evil jedi(sith?) and when I FLY with my SPACESHIP I sometimes even WARP(like in those scifi-books you know?). | ||

For a nanoship, literally the safest place to be in the game is past some unavoidable gate in a plex or mission. Stations can be camped, gates can be surrounded, anoms provide no protection from 1-cycling - but plex/mission gates provide a tunnel that targets are forced to move through. When you enter a plex/mission with a gate, the very first thing you should always do is drop a can on coming out of warp. You have to carry over 9000 of every ammo, so just drop 1 of them at every warpin. This way, a rapier/falcon/stealth bomber/proteus don't have even a small chance to surprise you. On the other hand, if you warp out of a gated site - especially after someone has probed you there - the tables are turned entirely if you attempt to warp back. tl;dr Drop cans at gate exits. Don't leave gated plexes with the intention of returning. | ||

Does the can thing just stop them from recloaking? | ||
