I was in the Hatchery just over a year ago now I think before I stopped playing because of time constraints. I have more time now and I've re subbed. I'm currently downloading the client and while I'm waiting I thought I'd ask about where I might end up if I wanted to fly with you guys again.
If I remember correctly I can fly a T1 fit hurricane (was training for t2 guns when I quit) and a T2 fit stiletto. T2 Rifters too of course from being a fresh noob in the hatchery back in the day.
Not very impressive :/ and unfortunately in our pvp ops I didn't manage to graduate much further than expendable tackle in a rifter and getting yelled at by kwark for doing dumb noob things every so often. I was learning though and having a lot of fun, I did a lot of fleet scouting.
I guess basically I'm asking will I be in the training corp to start if I can come back?
No don't get a 60 day trial. Get a 14 then come into Hatchery PUB and ask for a 21, and soon after that your mentor will give you another free 30 days. This way you'll get a full account as well.
There I was scanning for sites 1j from sara, when I stumbled across a ladar combat site. While I was in the process of scanning it down, the other guy in local piped up. He tells me he's running the site and go away. I move my probes away, and warp my cov ops into the site. The idiot is still running it. I jump my alt into the system in a pvp ship and warp to him. Surprisingly, he's watching d-scan and leaves. I start running the site, and the first can drops nanite controls.
Moral of the story, never speak in local. If he hadn't said anything, I would have come back ten minutes later and 200mil poorer.
I can't wait to get this game installed I read the whole day about it, all this ships, races and weapons. It reminds me from what I ve read on Ambrossias Ev Nova.,
Are the Race suggestions still up to date tho? So I ve read that Achuras and Brutors are good races for PvP ?

I'm an old school UO PvPer and love PvP...so finding and reading this thread has really caught my interest. Is there anyway I can request a 21 day trial from a mentor here instead of signing up for an account and then having to make another once I receive the info in-game? If not, not a big deal, I can do that. Just seemed like an added step though.

Race and bloodline makes no difference to your skills or abilities, it's pure roleplay stuff.
Just wanted to throw a big thank you to Mandini for funding and hosting the Rifter FFA that just finished, it was a lot of fun, despite the long delay and small turnout, and I look forward to participating in the next one
