If I wouldn't be too cool to own a Ps3 I would join the beta. Does anybody here know anything about the factions in teh game and if it'll be possible to actually change something about the regions the factions hold? EDIT: Oh I just remembered what dust actually is(and how it's connected to eve). | ||

So after chasing a dramiel back to EC- with a single rifter, three other of us wanted to pew and decided to drop by EC- looking for anything to shoot. What we did not know was the dramiel brought a friend stabber to come kill our rifter, and was waiting on the other side of the gate when our rifter jumped in. Our rifter danced around and avoided being killed while we jumped in and started hammering the dramiel. However, the dramiel being a dramiel quickly burned away (despite being pointed and webbed) and got out safely. Meanwhile the stabber finished off the rifter that was bravely surviving the onslaught of the dramiel prior to us joining in. We switched to the stabber that was conveniently ramming our drake and melted it as three tornados, a maller, and the same dramiel landed again. The drake got pointed by two tornados and the maller but safely burned out in. The tornadoes and maller went back to the Torrinos gate and were soon joined up by the dramiel. Our thrasher danced around at the edge of grid tempted the tornado to shoot, but instead the tornado refused and insisted our thrasher shoot first. Two tornado left, nowhere to be seen again, and another tornado went to highsec. The maller and dramiel later left as well. With the field clear, our rifter in a pod decided to go home to reship to another rifter. The other 3 of us went to Torrinos gate and hung around. Nothing interesting came through for a while. We bounced around the system chasing targets on dscan but couldn't catch any. With all 3 of us spread out around the system with nothing to do, the drake decided to go into Torrinos to repair guns. But as soon as he went into Torrinos, he saw an Apocalypse land. A bit hesitant to take an Amarr battleship on with a shield battlecruiser, he waited until he heard the Apoc warp off gate to another gate. As soon as the drake jumped in, one of the tornadoes from before had just landed and followed. Our catalyst landed first on the gate while the other 2 followed, but the Apoc had warped to a Customs Office. With the tornado nowhere to be seen we decided to go after the Apoc. The catalyst and thrasher landed first and tackled the Apoc while the Drake was in warp. The Apoc pilot frowned and gave our two destroyers a stern look.... then ejected and warped his pod away. We ejected a rifter and took the Apoc home. Merry Christmas, free Apoc donated to the mity hattchury. We decided not to look for fights with our poorly fit meta Apoc (with two types of guns) and went home. On our way home we saw local +1 and started looking for it... ...which we later found out was a edit: And the Talos goes really fast. | ||

Meanwhile their intel channels rang with the alerts of a hostile gang charging gate to gate at best speed towards the system. Ten minutes later our German friend points the carrier again and suddenly local spikes and The Hatchery warps to him. The carrier had been sitting there, completely exposed, laughing at how little danger he was in. Imagine a buffalo sitting there as a wolf circles it a few metres away going "lol, silly wolf, there's no way you can bring me down alone, I won't even bother rejoining the herd or driving you off cause you're so retarded". Suddenly wolfpack. He tried to make it back to the pos but we kept bumping him, getting him 100k off before he eventually entered triage so we couldn't kill him. Gangs that were friendly to the carrier started pouring in from every direction while we were only two tengus, a drake, two rifters and a nado. They then fleet warped to a friendly pos leaving our small band laughing on the field. Unfortunately their numbers don't really show because we didn't lose enough ships to get their fleet on the mails. | ||

Bit old, but its still hilarious in so many ways. Its the best breed of killmail, one that you can look at multiple times and find something awful about it every time you look. | ||
