So we were roaming Delve with two rifters, two tengus and a nado and found a thanatos on an outpost. While there was a pretty massive risk of being neuted out in one cycle and then killed by a rifter receiving reps from it I decided to attempt a bump. No response so I called tofu in to start bumping too. We got it about 5k off and brought a rifter in to scram while we continued bumping. Seconds later he started to turn but he was already too far gone and tengu bumps are awesome, it was on. Cael joined in his nado and we put the dps on, slowly grinding down the shields as the thanny proved incapable of harming our tengus. However they had more tricks up their sleeve. A chimera, drake and baddon undocked. We primaried the drake and it dropped in seconds, apparently not getting any reps. Then I left tofu and a rifter on the thanny, continuing to bump it while I lined up for the chimera.

Now, the chimera had undocked to try and save a thanny which had just been bumped off station by a tengu. Given the tengus were still here this surely couldn't work. Afterburner went on, web went on, rifter#2 scram went on and I sent it flying. We now had two carriers bumped off station.

The baddon had no tracking enhancers and t1 lasers and I was never getting more than 15k from it as I repeatedly nudged the chimera out so it couldn't hit. Likewise their medium drones struggled to kill the tengus. For about fifteen minutes the two carriers and the baddon flailed at the two tengus, though they did drive off the nado briefly, while they got bumped first off station and then out of rep range of each other.

Earlier in the roam I'd run into fatyn of Aquila who apparently had a wh nearby. I joined Aquila Public and asked them if they'd like in. Now, I'd like to stress this was purely a polite formality, the carriers were 50k out of dock range at this point and getting further away from each other while the tengus were taking zero damage despite no logis and could keep going all day. It was a done deal. However in the spirit of friendliness and because I didn't want them to SD or bring in so much backup I had to give up I invited them along. The real battle then commenced, me attempting to defend my comms and FCing against marauding Aquila members who thought they should be in charge. It raged back and forth, at one point with them threatening to go home while I may have described letting them fly with me as charity but eventually we got a fleet going. The carriers died. They then undocked a naga which Aquila's naga alphaed. They then undocked a cane which we bumped off station and killed. Strange times in Delve.

Missed the carriers, but after the action I went on my first roam with oracle. PEW PEW! Found a couple gangs, ended up fighting them as they were fighting. Mainly just clean up duty.

The best way is to have someone scout for you, if you don't want to die.

You can also move around in a fast frigate usually. Rather than warping gate-to-gate, warp to planets near the gates and use directional scanner to see if the gate is clear.

Also remember to cap yourself out if out gate has no nearby celestials to dscan it. Running around in a cov ops/dram works too.

Attacked a 12 man Romanian Legion gang with two tengus and a Zedddrake (like a normal drake only awful at PvP). Unfortunately I thought it was only a ten man, not because I didn't scout them but because tofu and I were plagued with overview bugs not showing frigs. I let an enyo web me because I figured with heated AB I could still kite the ruppies and kill it so whatever then noticed they were gaining on me. I saw I was going 300m/s, got very confused, tofu bitched about his overview too and told me to switch my tabs and suddenly Ishkur webbing me. With four blackbirds on the field I couldn't shake the webs in time and the ruppies got me. I grabbed my spare tengu and came back and we cleaned up with ease. We were never in any danger really, it's an annoying loss to have.

We then chased a godfathers gang but fucked up vs it, partly due to some poor point calling and partly due to Zedd. They had nado, two cane, two drake, some fast tackle and a SFI. We jumped in with two tengus and drake and no links and nanoed off. Zedd got smashed and tried to burn out while tofu and I got the nado into structure then failed to point it (I was tabbed putting links up and it got out of my point range). Zedd just cruised off into the horizon as he went into armour with only the SFI with him, isolating himself with something that could outrun him, hold him forever and kill him. I worked out wtf he was doing and had to pretty much fly his ship for him because his decision making was taking him away from his web support (our tengus) and instead trying to outrun a shield SFI in a drake. Anyway, tofu and I heated off after him and eventually managed to run him down and web the SFI off him by which time we were 100k from most of their fleet and Zedd had burned out both mwd and point. We killed a cane too but it was a massive bust in terms of what we should have done.

I then got ambushed by a neut domi gang. I had one domi and was fooling around with it sans links on a gate. It was crashing and tofu was in warp to the other side so I was forced to risk going in to web. I judged I had enough cap to survive it's neut alpha with a heated AB cycle and get enough speed that it couldn't hold tackle or get a third cycle. It aggressed, got web but as I suspected I had cap left to heat AB and break its web. The second neut cycle hit me as I cruised at 3k/s at 24k, it didn't matter. However the gate had just flashed and the second domi decloaked 30k from the first (exact opposite side of the gate spawns) and about 5k from me. He too took the opportunity to web me and this time alphaed my cap. Three more domis jumped in and we still had no links. I managed to get enough speed to get out of the range of his second neut cycle and isolate that guy but they spidered and we lacked the dps to get any of them before they deaggressed and disengaged. Bad times.

just spent like 2 hours making a character............choosing between 2 different boots took soooo long

i made caldari coz she turned out nice first attempt (was gonna go thru every race but CBA now lol) but ill get minmatar ship asap

okay so if i get 21 day trial does that mean i have to remake my character? (make a new eve acc?) coz i wont bother im not doing all that again . will just buy a sub if im here in 14 days
