Tens of thousands of people online 24/7, buying and selling tons of stuff in dozens of locations. Your contract sniping is a drop in the bucket. That's why it's more stable.

At least a portion of the skills are pretty much essential for the large scale trade, and since player-created supply has to meet player-created demand on a much larger scope than in WoW, individuals can't break the backbone of the trade. Basically, you sniping contracts without destabilizing things is the perfect proof of that.

A high sale or a low sale don't really affect the average sales, especially since to really play the economy succesfully, you need to invest a decent amount of time in skills, which most of the people not wanting to play it well won't do. It only takes ~30-35 days to get a trade alt with V in broker and accounting and the ability to field at least 50 trade orders. I can tell you right now that the contract system is full of retards and its relatively easy to make enough isk to plex an account spending 1-10 minutes a day max setting up a wtb/wts orders on the more popular faction items.

But that still doesn't break overall market stability, if anything, it helps it, since you promptly turn around and re-list for the correct price, instead of telling everyone "oh this is only worth this now, because I got it for X isk." which is what we were talking about. Reprocessed ore value also creates a bottom value for nearly everything. Also very helpful.

The regular market it self is relatively stable and the mineral basket pretty much determines how much everything else is worth (most notably ship hulls). I think faction items do take up a small but sizable portion of the market (5-15%?). Its too bad only ccp will ever know just how much overall isk is being moved in the contract system compared to the market. I think its easier to get a 1-5% profit off of only 1 bil starting out doing buy low/sell high on the contract system though, as opposed to earning that same percentage profit on the regular market buying low/sell high.

He means yes + Show Spoiler + http://kb.aquilaeve.com/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=9441 Kinda weird. I guess the only reason I'm looking at them is because they are laser boats, with shields. And we like shields. But yeah cap boosters are a requirement I would say. I suppose the attraction for people is the extra highs for neuts/vamps?

I'm dying to put my minmatar skills to some use (ashimmu sexiest ship in eve etc...trained minnie cruisers 5 for that). Phantasms and ashimmus are just for showing off atm, not like cynabals and maybe vigilants. Edit: by showing off i mean spinning them at a station/POS obviously :/ I wouldn't mind if the Gila's range bonus got changed to damage. I really want to train for Gila either way, but missile range, resists, and drone damage is just such a weird combination.
