I've never heard that. Nothing you post makes sense either before or after I've spent time trying to decipher you could possibly be saying.
Nice troll though.

The Eve Uni fight was more a case of: Eve Uni trying to get warp ins on us ~170km from gate, failing.. trying again. Then a drake of theirs got bored and burned at us, and died.

Yeah I thought they would actually get one or some of us too. But they teetered on the edge of engaging and never quite did it.
The closest KwarK ever got to dying was when he was sitting on gate with a Purifier smashing him, but that was before the mass jump-in I think.

So, I hate to break it to you, but this is not a eve forums... SURPRISE.
I dont see how people are mixing up jokes and hate speech, youre just spouting non-stop nonsense mixed with attemps at self-martyrisation on top of general terrible ideas about eve and more self-martyrisation.
I dont know why youre still here to be honest, you obviously dont play startcraft nor care about the game, and im pretty sure theres not a single person posting in the eve thread that thinks you are contributing and would like you to stay. Just find another forum where to shitpost already.
Thanks

Thanks Well this is an EVE thread, and you guys aren't talking about anything else. Also, you are probably the most vitriolic and openly offensive poster here, so I hope you understand if I ignore you.
I play Protoss with a group of friends, at around the Platinum level whenever I have enough time, which is rarely (it's so much easier to stop playing EVE on short notice, but you commit to an unknown amount of time encompassing your entire attention whenever you start any RTS round ). I played the game in the beta and bought it the day it came out, so don't pretend you see right through me, however much you bluster and exaggerate. I've avoided the rest of the TL forums because they are pretty rampant with overmoderation and other things I won't go on about. Plus I already have people to talk about that game with. I did find this thread while looking through it though and thought I'd give it a try.
Thankfully not everyone here is like you or I would have given up after only 3 or 4 posts.

Funny story, my corp misjudged a wormhole's closing time and we had to burn like 35 jumps through DRF space and right through Uemon to get back to hisec before we could even hope to get back to our home system. That would have been a blast had I not had other things to do JUST as it happened, and also my map was stuck open.
What a game EVE is. Fortunately we didn't even see any locals at all in nullsec (amazingly enough) and nobody on overview the whole way back.

Nullsec is empty. Those big blobs that form up takes hours to form up and even more hours to fight due to CCP and their lame ass node reinforcement stuff. So you either see a shitload of em, a roaming fleet, a BOT, or just emptiness. Some mission hubs are camped to hell, i recommend not going trough them lol.

Seriously, i accidentaly quoted my post instead of editing, how do i remove this before kwark warns me again. :x

I was surprised not to even see any bots though, maybe they saw us coming through their BOT INTEL CHANNELS (the are learning robots!); it was literally complete emptiness for 30 jumps, including I think 2 station systems.
DRF space is a lot emptier than the North though, and you're right, they're all fighting right now. I'm used to being up in the North or in Providence where there are all these little squabbling nugget alliances ratting and breeding and dying all over the place, all the time.

Time for a big warning here to all of you. Behave towards eachother and express yourself with some respect to your fellow board users. If you have any problems feel free to contact a moderator about it or report the offensive posts in question if you have earned that user option yet.
The Xenofobia in this thread against people mainly here for EVE is becomming distressing, this is the public forum. There is a private one if you want to post with eachother without any outside interference or opinions. People here are free to express their opinions and you will deal with them respectfully even if you do not agree. Especially without becomming personal. Bans will be issued if I see any more of this, it's becomming disquietingly frequent.
This "be less of a tool", "who the fuck are you again?" and it's fellows is just unacceptable hostility.

After a rather long hiatus away from the game and getting sick of trying to do things in null sec- i decided to pick up eve again- except this time try to exclusively run only worm holes. I have been flying the SB for a long time. And while i have had only recent success with it, I plan on documenting my journey through eve from the point of view of this under estimated ship. I feel that local destroyed the entire idea of cloaky ships, and WH is a blessing in disguise for the underrated and underused SB. I feel that the lack of local is a great plus, but also becuase people don't seem to understand that WH is not their own private eve server.
So anyway time to start with some of my tales. Today i am just going to tell a quick story that happened very recently. I had been occupying this C2 WH with a HS static, for some time. I had been playing my normal occupation game and had been living out of a giant secure container for some time. I was using my bomber as a jacknife and was swapping out the bomb launcher for a core probe when i needed too. Needless to say i had been terrorizing the corp that called this WH home for the past week.
Now as some of you may be wondering how this is profitable- let me show you my methodology. When people are running sleeper sites they normally clear the site and then leave to start on the next one. Normally they leave a salvage ship (like a destroyer or noctis) to clean all of that delicious loot. Now as you can guess this is where i come in. Those delicious ships are a prime target for an SB (And besides I need to get paid for having to sit and watch them clear the site hehe)
Ideally i wait until the salvage ship has just cleared the site of the last wreak when i uncloak about 22k off their bow and proceed to torp them to death. The pilots go down very quickly, and normally heal cannot arrive before it is too late. This is what is ideal in my cherry picking world. However as people get smarter they are less likely to leave their little old salvager alone all by their lonesome.
Anyway enough of the boring stuff- on to the meat of my tale. A bit ago i was running random holes that i had scanned down around Rens. I was about to head off to sleep, when i jumped into my last hole. I bookmarked the exit and started d scanning. I noticed right away that there were some sleeper wreaks on the scan, along with a tengu. Knowing that i might have an easy kill- i warped to the sun and used my ship scanner to find the combat sites.
Now i have perfected my non probe scanning ability's down to perfection while living in WH. Basically i only uncloak twice. Once wen i am jumping into the hole, and again when i am springing the trap. Needless to say my ship scan only brought up about 3 combat sites. I used my map view and narrowed down the tengu. I warped in on him at 100. Sure enough he was there just finishing off one site. After he had cleared this site, he took off twards another. I was expecting to have his salvager warp right in afterwards, but it appeared that he was running solo.
Not wanting to press my luck, i just wanted around at the second site for him to appear. (he did and started to clear this site as well.) After i was done cleaning up the last of the sleepers, he took off towards the far planet- and suddenly warped back in with his noctis. Now i will never understand why people think that doing sleeper sites alone is a good idea. As i slowly watched him clear up his first sight, i was beginning to wonder if i should kill him now- or wait and see if he will go towards his second site as well. At worse he could take the noctis and move back to his pos unloading the first site- but i decided to take my chances.
I had a warp in on the second site and waited with bated breath for the noctis to arrive again. Sure enough he warped in about 50 away from me, and all i had to do was wait. he cleared up the second site and when he just finished the last wreak i opened up on him. I was about 22K off his bow and i uncloaked and hit him with my t2 disruptor, and my 3 torp launchers. My EM torps were doing good dmg to him, and i took him down in 3 volleys. Sadly his pod got away, and i was left with the loot. It was a nice haul!
http://eve.battleclinic.com/killboard/killmail.php?id=12989120
He was not too happy with me, and needed to express a few of his feeling in local. I didn't feel the need to respond, but instead sent him my service agreement letter. Over all not bad for a nights work, and I could not have asked for an easier kill. Tomorrow i will tell a tale that actually has some fighting in it!
As a quick prelude- Some people think that by having their BS parked close to their noctis they can protect it. Sadly this is not the case
Anyway i hope that you enjoyed my tale, more to come! and if any of the TL SB guys ever want to come and join me, just send an eve mail to Chessur. I am always looking for more friends

Ramiel... i've been toying with the idea of using a t3 (loki) for the same thing you are doing.. you think is possible? better worse?
|
I was coming back from muttokon scouting mission and i noticed a loki in dscan just when i landed oddelulf gate. i dscanned it down to a pos, saw no force field, went in and got point. he killed me just when the fleet started landing next to him and rest is history.
