Besides, HMLs from the drakes were hurting quite a bit once the 9POOL gang was on grid and burning at my pest. | ||

btw guys as you probably would've noticed if it had mattered to anyone, I cancelled my subscription, ever since the hatch moved to lowsec eve lost all its luster for me. Just didn't feel like trying to tiptoe around the higher ups hunting missioners anymore, and running around wh space with rl friends was boring as fuck /rant back to sc2! | ||

Yes it can warp cloaked, and no it does not have any delay. The T3 ships with the proper mods can fit a cov ops cloak, and the targeting delay is not huge- im pretty sure that it is 5sec but i could be wrong. | ||

Once i hit the grid i noticed that they were just finishing up their site. I check the pilots bio while i was waiting for them to finish with my site, and noticed that the hyperion pilot is only 6 months old. Now any competent eve pilot will tell you that being able to fly a battleship with out any support skills is just an expensive waste. Worse still- this guy only had t1 drones- and was using a full flight of hammie 1's at the time. this basically means that against my purifer he can't do a single thing to me- provided that he doesn't have friends. Anyway these two pilots finish up the site (VERY SLOWLY) i might add- and the myrm pilot jumps off back to his pos to grab a noctis. I start moving towards the center of the wreak pile, and await my easy money. Now i am more impressed with these guys, than the last noctis i blew up. But the problem here is- a BS is not going to hit my SB. Ever.... While the noctis was cleaning up his mess, the hyperion was slow boating around / away from his salvager. I will never understand why... because he was way out of his drone control range (not like hammies going at 1237 m/s is going to catch me anyway) but needless ot say i was going to teach him a free lesson. Once the noctis had finished grabbing all of the wreaks, I de cloaked as usual about 22k off him, and began to orbit. I made sure not to light the MWD and took the noctis down quickly (3 volly). Sadly his 425mm prototype 1 gauss guns never hit their mark- and i looted the wreak and got out while loling in his face in local. i would have stuck around to finish that Hyperion, but the problem was I was un able to pod the noctis- and was worried about the myrm coming back. Both the myrm and the hyperion go back to the pos after another failed night of collecting any type of loot. I thought that my night of fun would be over- but i was wrong. As i was chilling around in the WH again at the end of the night, i noticed a kestrel chilling out 100k from the static HS hole of the WH. I decided to have some fun with the guy, and uncloaked about 60k off him. Clearly he had been waiting for me, and the second i targeted him he came right at me with bloodshot eyes. Sadly the fool did not have an MWD so i had to wait a bit longer to spring my trap. As i waited to fire my bomb, i started to pelt him with my torps. I hit with the first salvo and when i launched the second- i also let loose a bomb. Sadly that was the end for him, and his T1 frig went byby in the subsequent explosion. When he started to burn that's when i told the rifter to burn at him, because i was not going to be able to hold a point. You were asking what to do. The simplest way to explain it, was "approach, turn mwd on", it sounded that you clearly didn't knew what you were doing, and you didn't. It's ok to ask if you don't know something and fuck completely and utterly up, i've done this myself several times. But don't bitch about it. That pest was dropping, it was shield tanked and it was about to hit armor, even one single cycle of a point would be enough, if you were to scram him once we perhaps could all catch up with him. Your job was simple, point the pest, and you were the only capable of doing it, you didn't do it. Stop bitching. We all fucked up at some point, but deal and learn with it. | ||

I used to probe and tackle all the time from a tackle fit Cheetah. Bump tackle can work from a frigate against BCs and smaller, though BCs are honestly pretty iffy. A frigate can't really affect the alignment of a BS too well in the second or two of time you have decloaking to bump a BS target, especially if you're AB fit. I'd be comfortable bump tackling dessies or frigates with good success, as long as they didn't have guns! | ||
