yes, I was just too lazy to change the fit. the general idea stays the same though. You'll want a 1600mm plate, focused medium pulse lasers and what ever mid slots you like.
or just get an augoror navy issue

General fitting tips based on this example:
1. 2 800mm plates should make you question what you're doing. A single 1600mm plate provides the same armor but is more slot efficient and CPU efficient. It does take slightly more PG, but the extra slot is more than worth it.
2. You're using Adaptive Nano Platings. They're sometimes useful, but only when you have a free low slot and no CPU left. Energized Adaptive Nano's give better resists, but only the T2 variety (interestingly the meta Energized are worse than the ANP 2 despite higher fitting costs).
3. Why are you using a meta warp disruptor? They should only be used for fitting purposes, because an extra 4km point range is huge. My experience has been that I only use the metas on a few very tight frigate fits with a very specific engagement window.
4. Pretend non-faction/T2 ammo doesn't exist.
5. You need more levels in the ship skill to be flying one of these. I'm guessing, but it looks like you have Amarr Cruiser I based on the armor resists. General rule would be don't fly ships until you have at least level IV.

Exactly!
I want to go Maller as an entry level lolarmourfleet ship and get some experience flying. As someone said. Nobody ever primaries a Maller... This should help me stay on field longer.
I just don't want to be in field in a ship that really should not have been taken out in the first place. I know I am making a lot of fitting errors, but I am learning a lot and trying to get better all the time.
I am not IV yet. But I will be before I fly the ship. I can see it is not worth it before then. Look at the bonuses!
Drop the tackle/web. Ok. That is actually not a bad idea. No double 800mm, ok,
My other option is to continue to run dualbox logi... zzz
Thanks again guys, I really do appreciate it. The information not only helps me with fitting and learning, but helps me understand what other people are flying when I come across them. Eve is a lot of information. A LOT.
EDIT:
Skilledbob Maller
Here is your fit. A few people are going to say go MWD over AB, but I will let you explain that one. Maybe its because its a blob ship?
Dps should be near 300+ with skills. I can fit this with one more level of advanced weapons.
And! My skills are not updating in EFT. I don't know what to do. Maybe reinstall?

Day something of me streaming myself. I streamed myself yesterday as well but I deleted it by accident.
Today's stream features probing to the sound of Nicolas Cage raging in local. I continued the stream by doing some data sites with pulse jet bicycles, kettles, and vans in the background.
I also stream Phantom BGH on Brood Wars

To update skills in EFT go to the character editor and hit import again. It should re-use the api.

Remember how my last post said that meta EANMs are worse than T2 ANP? Check that last fit. Also you have a sebo with range script when your ship has an effective range of about 20km. Why?

that ship has an afterburner because an MWD would require a different fitting because of CPU and PG limitations and when you MWD in a long rang fit like that which allready got low tracking you will have even worse tracking.
also most armor logistics dont fly around with MWDs so it does not help you as the DPS to be faster then your logistics. The fit I linked you is intended for low skill point and low budget medium range armor fleets with a size of at least 20-30 people.
the script in the sensor booster was my mistake it does not need targeting range but a scan resolution works or a target painter

Hey guys, I started my trial by using the link above and currently running the tutorial. To be honest, I am overwhelmed by the details and the overall complexity of the game but something keeps me driving in.
Anyways, I can use any suggestions for post tutorial phase. What should I do? What should I learn and proceed? I feel myself closer to creating something. I am not ambitious to dive into PvP or similar things.
Thanks in advance.

the tutorial sends you to different job agents that give you an idea of the things that you can do in EVE, so my advice for you would be to go to all the different carier agents and see what you enjoy.

So can someone suggest a Moa fit? BNI is running them, but I don't really trust their fit suggestions.

Got it. I think I went meta because I would have to train into Hull Ups V for the T2.
Later today I am going to compare the Maller with the Augoror Navy for dps, and what I can currently put in one.
Thanks again.

moa should work this way, though I am not sure if BNI wants to run them with MWDs . You can fit a MWD on this fit when you change the active EM hardener for a passive one.
|
Close to the BNI fit, but instead of using a passive resist they "pay" for the MWD with a cap booster. This drops the tracking comp and one Stabilizer for a tracking enhancer, which makes their fit worse. (probably more noob friendly on the cap management skills though :p)

So reddits on a another anti kwark spree. /r/eve hates him almost as much as /r/sc2 did back when they were rioting about team liquid bans.

This one was more anti FA, although the author was mad at me for always calling him out on his numbers and mad at FA leadership for sheltering me.

Maller
I like this one. Have some time to skillup. Learn things, and practice flying.
Navy Aug
The Navy Aug has more beef and DPS from the drones. This is the fit I am required to fly for my corp. I know it has meta scram. Probably for low SP players.
Until then. Happy trails. I will be flying my Merlin! (or doing L4 couriers)

While we are on the topic of fits, anyone willing to recommend a good fit for FW farming?
