Firstly the team would like to thank you for all the effort you put into your application. We were very excited to see a large number of very strong applicants this year even if it makes our job of picking a team that much harder. Unfortunately we are not able to offer you place on the commentary team for this year’s Alliance Tournament. We’re not exaggerating when we say we could have built an entire second commentary team from all the excellent applications we had, the level of quality was just that strong.
We do hope to see you apply again next year and that you enjoy Alliance Tournament XII.

I just sent CCP an email asking how I could improve, and if they could provide me some constructive critisms to strengthen my commentary for next year. This is what loxy sent back to me:
"Honestly you were very strong and you were one of my top 6 picks. But the other side of the selection is choosing 4 people to mesh well with each other plus fozzie & rise. When we have plenty of options to choose from it often comes down to working out what would make the best combinations in pairing etc…
You were very strong and I really hope to see you apply again next year, sorry the news could not be better.
Sorry Chessur. I seriously doubt they had any stronger applicants given your high game knowledge and charisma in general but I am not even slightly surprised that CCP can't tell quality when it stares them in the face.

From what loxy is telling me, the picking of the top 4 had more to do with their synergy with Rise / Fozzie than anything else. Due to the strong applicant pool. Apparently my style is hard to mesh with others? Anyway, loxy was a really great guy and the interview process in general was really cool. I am happy for the experience. Dissapointed sure, but there is always next year.

We had a point and time where we would SBU their systems, they would form a defense fleet- and we would kill it. Generally with 8-10 guys and 4 oracles, shit gone done.
I am pretty sure there is a youtube video floating around of some of our better engagement with provi.
