- power creep does not exist in eve, these ship changes are not causing power creep. - he sees no problem with a game where all ships are more difficult to hit, and said well if all ships are harder to hit, then it's not really a balance issue then, because everyone and the entire ship line is effected. I couldn't go farther on this line of questioning. Pics have no idea if he relizes that by saying that, small ships are going to be heavily favored in the new meta. - we also discussed recons. He feels that they don't need a lot of help currently, and that the main problem with them is that T3 are completely overshadowing their role. - lastly he does not agree that ears are op or that they are currently completely outclassing recons. - he did agree that ECM was a shit mechanic, and scales so poorly. Apparently he and his team are actively working in a way to make ECM and are or linear mechanic. That way ships can fly out of ECM fields, or avoid other things. Currently the game engine has a difficult time with some of this. More dates to come when I get them | ||

- Lock shit down at range - Tank whatever damage still works at that range - Move relatively fast due to being cruisers - Limited by capacitor - Pretty easy to hit Changes here - 25% damage bonuses on 8 battleship turret slot ships that have a higher base speed than recons and can apply damage outside of effective recon range - Speed bonuses on every ship - Sig reduction on most ships - Most new ships cap stable - Introduction of new cap stable, sig reduced ship moving 3x the speed of recons with 90% of the bonus for 10% of the price. Nah mate, recons are in a great place right now. | ||

T3s outshining recons is due to the fact that they are basically good enough in the bonus department and have very sturdy tanks, which is only amplified by throwing logi on them and results in little to no effective piloting required other than the classic approach f1. So Rise does make sense, granted the entire thought process and basis is shit, but it is logical. | ||

Not your case specifically, but I have often overpaid for stuff intentionally. Order #5 down on the price sort has enough for me to fill my desired quantity, so I buy at his price, and it fills from everyone above, overpaying them. Save having to buy multiple times, at a slight price increase. | ||

That all development was over for dust and that nothing would transfer over, but hey legion will do all the things we promised that was coming to dust this year. | ||
