The easiest way is to get a friend to run fw lvl4's and share the rewards. If you can't do this, you'll need to run about 10 to 15 cycles of lvl 1's for the faction. (a cycle is going to 13 to 15 of the tribal liberation stations, accepting misisons, then running them all at once, it is the fastest way) The standings will come when you get promotions, you will get massive standings increase with the minmatar faction, your TLIB standings will go up after every completed mission. You can do it in a week or 2 just running 1 or 2 cycles per day in a thrasher. It is simply the easiest and fastest way to fix standings. The only other thing that helps is donating the proper tags to minny data centers, or so I was told, I've never bothered. | ||

From what I've been able to gather from twitter: Whiptail and Chameleon details unveiled (WormCrow and GilaFalcon) Module Tiericide (named/meta/deadpsace/faction/officer modules to become specialized rather than progressive. Possible named modules will be more widely manufacturable? Major Phoenix/Citadel missile rebalance Bomber/Recon/T3 rebalance on pace for Winter Major Rorqual rebalance? Major drone overhaul (we kinda already knew about this one) Barge/Exhumer rebalance, specifically drone damage bonuses (already a devblog about this too) Angel ships warp speed bonus (already devposts about this) Some Sansha ships may be getting MWD bonuses in addition/instead of the AB bonuses already discussed? All modules should have its usefullness not like now when no one ever uses meta 2 or 3 for example." - /u/Pie_Napple Analytics Team Ingame economy dips in the summers Inflation appears to be happening when it isn't PLEX prices have dropped very slightly this year Odyssey changes caused a big change in the economy and they helped deflate the economy Prior to expansion there is a price dip which slowly increases leading into an expansion and spikes at the expansion. Even with spikes and increases there is always a deflation of a slight amount by the year's end. Introduction of salvage drones increased usage of Salvaging by 68%, then Rubican's Mobile Tractor Units increased it by an additional 20%. Increase in salvaging reduced overall prices of Salvage, causing a deflation of the economy. This mirrors real world invention where a new invention comes along and makes something easier and drops prices. Classical economists would think this level of deflation is too heavy, but in EVE's economy this is proof of concept that their technology and changes are very effective and they have a good grasp of economic control. Bounty Prizes are the largest faucet of ISK into the economy by a very large margin. (~30 Trillion a year) The economy is very healthy at the moment though. In June there is a larger sink due to people buying skill books and such following the expansion, in October there is a raise in the influx of ISK due to more stable play. More stressing that the economy is very very healthy. PLEX usage increases year by year, prices have been increasing on PLEX steadily, but it is not a consumer good but behaves as an investment (similar to gold in the real world.) People store their ISK in PLEX when they expect inflation and for long term investment. PLEX is not a good measurement of inflation, because it does not impact the basic flux of ISK in the economy. "Decreased velocity" of PLEX, there are fewer and fewer PLEX on market. This increases the price. They continually monitor the PLEX market to make sure its healthy and stable. In 2013 they didn't intervene in the PLEX market at all, there was an alarming price increase rate in March. There was an intervention in 2014, and they said it was noticeable and helped. They do not believe intervention is healthy and do not want to rely on it. They do not want to "set the price" of PLEX and there is no "right price" of PLEX. Largest EVE battle ever was not Asakai and B-R5RB, but was a battle on Serenity. They showed Titan production quarterly. Titan Production is down in 2014 and been dropping a bit. Q4 2011 was the largest. Titan Deaths in Q1 2014 was by and far the largest at 80, Q1 2011 had ~50, the rest was between 5-20 per quarter at worst. More data coming using API, more on this during the API panel. They want more of the market and economy data in the player's hands. CCP will allow players to submit papers to CCP's blog system for peer review on the economy and market, they want more player driven analysis. They expect the industry changes to lead to drastic changes in the economy. This is expected to be the year of the industrialist, and CCP looks forward to how we work with what they're giving us. Ships and Balancing Rapid Missile Launcher usage dipped after Rubicon, but actually has started to rise again and has surpassed pre-Rubicon levels (partially due to Interceptors coming to the forefront.) Reveals coming! (Yay!) Pirate faction rebalancing, they're redoing all of them in this expansion. Lots of focus on bringing a lot of these ships up to the new Tech 1 standards with all of the rebalancing since their last changes. They wanted to make the other factions like Serpentis, their ships should be super unique, have capabilities not seen elsewhere. Serpentis are keeping their web bonus. People love Bhaalgorn but no one uses smaller ships. Weird bonus combinations. Flavor is really strong and they bled the effects down to the smaller ships and improved their stats. All of the Blood Raider ships are getting an old NOS mechanic (when they use Energy Vamps they succeed regardless of cap levels of you or enemy.) Guristas have same issue, battleship used but the rest are unfavored. They have giant bonuses to drones, they have the toughest drones. Worm/Gila have Light/Medium drone bonuses. Rattlesnake gets Heavy/Sentry drone bonus. Missile bonuses. Sancha's Nightmare popular in PvP, strong flavor among the Sancha. Same situation as Blood Raiders, lower ones unused. 100% bonus to Afterburners being given to all 3. They basically move MW speed with Afterburners and can't be scrammed. Nightmare remains about the same. Angels are the "OP" pirate faction, way more popular. They aren't changing a much (toning fitting down on Cynabal), all are getting bonuses to warp speed. Dramiel moves at interceptor speeds. Mining Barge/Exhumer rebalance this expansion. Battle Skiffs! Mackinaw/Retriever used the most by a very very large margin. Retriever/Mackinaw are getting their yield pulled back slightly. Covetor/Hulk getting a yield increase and are getting a bonus to mining laser range and survey scanner range. Gang Links that increase Mining Laser Range now increase Survey Scanner Range. Mining Crystal volume dropped by 60%. Procurer/Skiff are going to have drone damage bonuses on top of their mining bonuses. Procurer is getting its speed brought up to Skiff levels. Drone rebalancing coming. Gallente drones most used, Minmatar secondary, Caldari/Amarr basically never used. Caladri/Amarr drones being brought up a bit to respond to this. They'll be getting more range than the other two races. They'll also track better. Drone skills penalize new players too much, they'll be lowering the Drone Damage skills to 10% from 20% but the leftover is being rolled into the drones themselves (so damage is the same, less skills required.) Renaming Electronic Drone Warfare Interfacing. Splitting Scout Drone Operation off to get its own bonuses and be able to balanced separately. More Weapon Skill like. Phoenix Dreadnought getting massive changes. Phoenix is getting a shield resistance bonus to replace kinetic damage bonus. Taking damage bonus lost and adding it to the missile launchers as ROF. Increasing velocity of Citadel Missiles (almost doubling). Swapping explosion radius for explosion velocity. Increasing signature radius of all POS structures in the game. Some Leviathan changes, nothing major. NEW SHIPS! First set of ships today, rest at keynote tomorrow. Alliance tournament ships. Guristas are sponsoring the tournament. Some capsuleers claim that ECM is dishonorable or unfair. Jam those ones first, and kill them last." "Chameleon" Cruiser - ECM/Drone Damage/Shield Resist, Covert Ops Cloaking "Whiptail" Interceptor - Missile Damage, SHield Resistance, Light Combat Drone Damage/Hitpoints Not all balance is being said today, Keynote will have more of it. Rorqual/Orca getting some attention down the line. Rorqual is in dire need of help, won't be used solely to compress (starbase structure is getting compression.) Goal is to make a Rorqual a ship you want to put in a built, with extremely strong defenses and ability to defend miners in the area as well as providing major mining benefits. Should be safe but manageable. Stealth Bombers getting some attention down the line. Bombers should be fun to use and provide benefits with mastery, and make sure there are good countermeasures to deal with them. Recon Ships getting attention down the line. Incredibly crucial and they do what they do the best in a lot of cases. Poor Pilgrim. Strategic Cruisers getting attention down the line. They're not getting nerfed into the ground. They want every subsystem to have a good strong role. There should be good choices. Strategic Cruisers were brilliant idea with poor execution, they should be able to take advantage of flexibility. They don't want rigs to hold you back. Vast majority of subsystems getting better, certain combinations will be getting nerfed. Module meta levels need a full rework, its in their "sights" Introducing Module Tiericide starting in upcoming releases New "Module Taskforce" to work on this. Don't like Linear Module Progression, want to fix this. Tech One is baseline. Named Modules will split to have separate bonuse types, Tech Two slightly ahead of Names in power level, Cosmos slightly ahead of Tech 2, Faction will split with separate bonuses and be slightly ahead of Cosmos. Deadspace/Officer will split with different bonuses and be ahead of Cosmos. Choices will definitely matter. Named Module Manufacturing coming down the line. Dream of a day where everything is manufactured instead of just most things. Teasers! Those were terrible D: They showed minor parts of ships, really hard to make out anything. | ||

1. Got laughed put of the 0.0 round table for bringing up the question of small gang relevance / small gang is the genesis of context and pvp. I asked something to the effect of what can / is being done to help small groups of players accomplish big things in 0.0 fuzzier answered the question nicely, amid laughter from the 0.0 guys. Basically he and he devs pointed to the ESS a great conflict driver they added recently. Another two of e devs also stated that making small gang relevant in 0.0 with all of their decision making is always a close consideration when making 0.0 features. During the modal and ship talks with rise and fozzie no questions were being taken. However, I was the only person who cheered during the Shansha ships discussion points, and fozzie / rize seemed to enjoy / joke with me for a bit. I also made it for a low sec and crime watch discussion. Again I was almost beaten out of the room, when I suggested removing sec hits in low sec because it really doesn't do anything, and discourages players from trying some entry level pvp. Apparently every pilot in that room was -10 and it was apparently the highlight of their lived, being a space pirate - because they turned into a pack a wolves tearing into me the second I said it. The devs also seemed pretty unimpressed as we'll, stating that they like adding content- not removing it. Lastly it is apparently fizzles wish to make more epeen events in eve. iE if you can hold / kill something. Better than other players, then your corp name will be shown on all of the low sec gates of that region proclaiming your kingship of said space. Lastly, I participated in a pvp tournament with 4 other scrubs. Luckily I was able to whip the a bad their ships into shape within 30min and utterly crush the other team. I won 3 free beers, a chance to win sweg IRL an ingsme unique Titan, and I also won a Tyra wiyrkiomi edition, and immolator. Also snuck into the media only section claiming I was writing something for TL. Mitanni was quite useful in vouching for me. So I got to hangout. With important space people. Will post more later | ||
