Example walkthrough: EM Shield Compensation skill, and how the various modifiers get multiplied with each other in a completely spaghettified manner to give you your percentage.

Much more compartmentalized numbers, simpler calculations, better processing.
Still in QA (can't actually jump to a new system yet)
EvE Probe: Will allow you to run explosions, jumps, and simulate the graphics engine on your computer so you can see how well it shows up on your computer.
Allows faster feedback on how things look on various systems
'Thin clients' allow for server stress tests without mass player tests (1000 Rifters shooting rockets at one ship on Veritas' computer without issue)
