Also def- while I will not deny that the talos is still relevant, it has lost a lot of its luster in the new Meta of navy cruisers. Navy cruisers go over 3k/s no speed implants, no links, have a nice tank and great projection to back it up. They get even scarier linked. | ||

Also, one of the oft-forgotten drawbacks of rails is that overheating doesn't increase the per-shot damage - same kind of annoyance the artycane had. Although with frigates being so weak these days, I think that drawback has less impact. With missiles v frigs I really like RoF ;/ though maybe I'm biased seeing as rarely will +damage lower "shots to kill" on frigates I don't necessarily think you want to test just with CNAM (16+17 is just not that amazing, also you can't all-in loci for railguns effectively) I agree with Michael's assessment that you will need to constantly swap ammos with rails. For reference CN uranium has 50% more optimal than CNAM and 83% of CNAM damage. Also: interesting solo oracle fit, probably wouldn't work in todays environment (2 k m/s heated is way too slow) but still an overall nice opening fight | ||
