I'm just waiting for the point where all parties involved declare victory. Should put together a timeline .jpg that shows the line of thought between two warring groups in eve. Step 1a Optional: Blue status removed Step 1: Declare war Step 2: shoot structures Step 3: One side loses several capitals Step 4: Other side loses slightly fewer capitals Step 5: Both sides then declare victory and the war ends, nothing significant has happened.

There were talks of fooling around with noobships (aka, Rookie Ships, aka, starter ships you get free when you have nothing) but nothing concrete since BBQ using Ibis up north. I was playing with the gallente noobship Velator (and getting blown up by Rengas and Serg)when we realized what we must do... -- The day before we assembled our rag tag team of noobships with a single cloaky repair support ship just in case. Now even those of you who don't play EVE should understand how ridiculous this sounds. Our first victim came in unsuspectingly. Though we had logistics prepared to repair us, it wasn't necessary. The combined might of two dps noobships (with BBQ in a dishonourable ECM noobship) quickly fell the cruiser. Unfortunately Mawderator, who was on comms but not paying attention, came in and ruined what would have been a glorious kill. This continued with an Enyo assault frigate, which in normal situations would have easily destroyed any noobship in a volley or two of its bonused guns. Again, with a Talwar destroyer, an anti-frigate platform, that would have normally instapopped any of us. This guy was SO CONFIDENT that to ensure he killed us all, he divided up his weapons to shoot at two of us at a time. He quickly learned otherwise of course. The local residents, numbering over 90 in local since before we started, decided to form up a proper fleet of anti-frigate ships and engage us. They entered the grid with a single maximum tank ship to bait us. We decide to go for it (might as well) and their fleet lands numbering a little under 20. We stay to fight it despite the ridiculous odds (sticks versus machine guns? And outnumbered 3-4:1?) a Slasher tackle frigate comes at us and we hit it. However, our hero logistics pilot gets separated amongst the confusion and gets caught. Unsurprisingly, one by one we begin to explode, and we leave. We re-enter the field with proper ships and kill a couple of their tackle before they disengage. Victory is ours. -- We continued our usual shenanigans yesterday, and as the system got quiet the call for noobships came. We formed up and sat in a belt. No one came. They could see us from far away and dared not to approach 5 beginner starting ships. We went to another belt further out of sight and sat there. Some locals came in at far range, looked at us for a couple seconds, then went away. We were thinking no one would ever come when suddenly... A Tech 2 Prorator industrial decloaked right amongst us. Was it bait? Probably, but who cares, shoot it! It went down surprisingly easy.Looking at the kill report, we realized that this victim was a hapless passer-by, like a tourist passing through a warzone in a minivan full of luggage. A Procurer landed. A heavily tanked mining ship. Obvious bait, but we went for it. As we swarmed over it like seagulls on a fallen hot dog, it scram webbed me and deployed Hobgoblin I's. We didn't have logistics, so I was screwed. I quickly overheated my afterburner and began shooting the drones. I survived in 47% structure. The briefcase saved me. As the bait went down, alone on the field, which is not how you bait by the way, a Condor landed on us. We quickly popped it. Soon after a Vexor and Caracal landed. Either of these ships could theoretically single-handedly annihilate a squad of noobships. The Vexor was called primary while our Ibises jammed the Caracal. + Show Spoiler + Now before I go on, Caracals can outrange all noobships and a microwarpdrive Caracal can go faster than an afterburning noobship -- if the Caracal got out of range and the Ibis couldn't jam for even a moment it would be game over. We conquered the system. GG. http://teamliquid.killmail.org/?a=kill_related&kll_id=18124601

The wreck field ended up being about 300km long from the gate, was very nice. Gotta hand it to brave newbies they are not afraid to bring a fight.

So, I'm assuming they neutered FW. What are the best ways to casually bear in lowsec now? I'm guessing its back to exploration in a Tengu/whatever. On a semi-related note, how is the new Drake Navy Issue?
