edit:I withdraw that statement With lvl V ore industrial you get: 2km/s tractor beam 80km Range that's insane >.> I can't think of many missions where you make a wreck ball that's bigger than 80km radius. | ||

Lots of people who can afford and/or fly a marauder choose to fly pirate BSs, or perhaps some T3 ships. This would benefit them greatly. Only marauder worth anything running missions is the Golem in my opinion, so there's lots of room for a Noctis. EDIT: In other news, hilarious exploit detailed here. | ||

People that don't fly a marauder arent going to dock up and get into this ship just to salvage, not worth it. Also The Vargur and The Paladin are unmatched in their respective mission niche..IE Vargur for Anges and Paladin for Sansha. You just have to be a bit more selective. My vargur will blitz missions maybe 20 seconds slower than a golem. Golem does have range issues. | ||

Anyways, like Jayme said, for a large portion of mission runners, a Paladin or Vargur is going to run the missions as efficiently if not more efficiently, with the added bonus of not requiring you to sink millions upon millions of skill points into Loldari so you can have a character useful for something other than carebearing. If ALL you want to do on your toon is run mission after mission, by all means, go for a Golem. The missile skills will be useful for a Tengu anways which is also a useful space heebing mobile. If you actually want to pvp with your toon, the Golem is actually probably the WORST marauder to train for because the VAST majority of missile boats are useless in PVP. | ||

 Vargur outperforms it in certain missions and also has selectable damagetypes. It does lose to other marauders in other missions, but all in all Vargur/Golem/Paladin are pretty close to each other's effectiveness in missions. | ||
