I am so positive right now that you literally google for swtor bugs so that you can post it here saying wtf look at this bug lol.

I think it would be funny (or not really) if they release a patch to 'address' issues on January 21st so everyone that unsubscribes after month 1 has to purchase another subscription to see if it really fixes anything for them.
TBH, if they unsubscribe from an MMO because of issues within the first month, they arent people who anyone wants to play with anyway.
They are whiny little children who want everything as perfect as the milk from their mothers teet. (None of the powder shite!) Much like some of the people in this thread.
Point is, its launch month, they are implementing a decent amount of fixes etc and announcing upcoming fixes for major issues, thats GOOD (no matter how much i whine about maintenance when i dont have work, bastards.)
Comparing it to WoW, Rift, Aion, <Shitty MMO> is pointless, different game, different companies, different issues, different release dates. Some good, some bad, some ugly. They had a brilliant launch if you ask me, yes some bugs but its their first MMO and all i see is them working their tits off to fix them. My hats are off to them.

No no, just get links from friends occasionally when they find funny shit.
Nonetheless, personally attacking me instead of addressing a potentially game and economy breaking bug is kind of immature. Although I would love to spend my days searching for things to bash a game so I can prove people's opinions wrong on an internet forum, I do not. Fact of the matter is, there is a potentially economy breaking bug that would give players access to literal infinite amounts of in-game currency with almost no effort whatsoever other than the time to sit down and press three buttons. Yet you completely avoid that issue and personally assault me.
So, let's recap. Even if I was going around typing in "swtor bugs" on google and spending my days with my fingers crossed trying to figure out ways to woo the people on TeamLiquid out of liking their game, it doesn't take away from the truth that there is a bug out there that lets people press 3 buttons essentially, and get infinite amounts of currency in the game. So insult me all you want, don't mind at all -- you still have a bug to deal with, however.
One you should be very angry with and addressing Bioware to fix, or at least look into. Because, at the end of the day, you're clasping your hands on your years and screaming "LALALALA" at any sign of remote negativity. Which is just horrendously immature and childish, to be candid. I mean honestly. Someone can sit down, and spend 30 minutes pressing a few buttons with no effort, and get filthy fucking rich in this game. That doesn't frustrate you at all? That doesn't get a sense of "What the fuck" from you?
EDIT: Interesting use of "literally", how would I figuratively google "swtor bugs" in your little personal scenario?
EDIT 2: I edit my posts too much Need to spellcheck and shit like that before I post hah. Nonetheless, if you feel the need to keep attacking me, go for it. I just wanted to point something out I found and personally found heavily offended that was allowed to be kept in the game past release. It's becoming abundantly clear that this is "Star Wars: The Old Republic -- NO NEGATIVITY ALLOWED THIS GAME IS SO GOD DAMN PERFECT Thread" for most people.

I can understand your position if I was going in here going "LOL THIS GAME FUCKING SUX I MEAN THE STORY IS LIKE IT WAS WRITTEN BY 4 YEAR OLDS AND OMG THE GAMEPLAY IS LIKE JUST LIKE WOW XD"
I posted a video of a bug that is giving people infinite money and felt it should be addressed.
I think there is an essential difference in the two. And if I ever acted like the first scenario, I am sorry.
However, I feel compelled to post this shit if no one else is.

Well do you?
Comparing this game to being an apple seed is fucking ridiculous, have you played the game? It is quite thoroughly complete but because it is an MMORPG there will be continuous improvement. More content will be added (there is already quite a lot in the game, but more content is never bad!). If the game isn't currently in a state in which you're satisfied with it then it is your issue for not having researched thoroughly enough before spending your money. Wait until the game is at a stage where you're satisfied.
Sure, the game isn't perfectly polished (a few minor bugs here an there, nothing gamebreaking) but it is still one of the greatest MMORPGs I've ever played (of which I've played many).
So yes, they do come across as whiny little children when they complain like it is the end of the world when their deliciously juicy apple with a few minor blemishes here and there isn't perfectly polished and sparkling.
So is it anyone who is frustrated that their $60 + $180/yr product isn't living up to their standards because of X, Y, Z (despite how intelligently they lay out their issues, as I'm sure you're referring to extensive reviews others have posted in recent pages) that makes them a "whiny little child", or is it the simple fact that they disagree with you that makes them such?
Problems get fixed by bitching in games. Simple as. If you love the game, love it. No one is stopping you from loving it, and I'm damn glad you're having fun if you are. However, don't act like a prat and berate people for having opinions on something they pay just as much as you do for.

Yeah it can make them whiny children if they expect to the game to be as polished as WoW, LOTRO, or previous MMO's before those that have been out for many many years compared to an MMO that just released not even a month ago.
If people are worried about bugs and shit and it being an MMO that just came out they should realize it will have bugs. There is no getting around it, there will be issues there will be flaws. If this bothers you people so much why did you buy the game? Why didn't you wait? You should know there will be issues as there is with every other MMO out there...

I'm not speaking for everyone, but some people expect to be purchasing a finished product when they drop the amount of money MMO's these day require. $60 + $15/mo ($180/yr)? Some people get frustrated that shit isn't polished and isn't properly balanced. ESPECIALLY when they have as open a beta and testing process as they did. Yes, new MMO's are buggy piles of trash. Why should that be the standard, however? You're honestly insulting people for wanting to purchase a finished product? For wanting the standard of modern game production not to be "We'll fix it eventually."?
Again, if you're having fun. Good for you. But not everyone is, and you shouldn't berate those who are not and tell them that they have to get out and that they are childish or insinuate that their opinions are worthless because "MMO's are expected to be shit at first." Also, don't contradict yourself. You and your companions say "DON'T MAKE OPINIONS ON THE GAME UNLESS YOU PLAY IT", and then people play it and dislike it, and you go "IT'S YOUR FAULT FOR PLAYING THINGS YOU DIDN'T RESEARCH!"
There are problems with this game, clear ones. Some are really fucking huge to some and arbitrary to others. However, you only make the community look bad when you insult people for finding something wrong. Especially if they approach it intelligently, as a lot of people in this thread and other threads are.
EDIT: Am I the only one who finds it hilariously odd that you are comparing the initial production value of a game released in 2004, and one released in 2011/almost 2012? That just hit me like a truck when I reread your post. The hell?

Man this thread has just turned into a place for people who play wow to come in and QQ. With that said, I was in the wow beta/ and there for vanilla launch. And I can say that the problems WOW had at launch were farrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr worse then the problems TOR have.Infact every WOW expansion launch has sucked way worse than TORS initial release. IMO any bug you find in TOR (which I personally have not come across yet and have been loving the game thus far) is just you being nitpicky. Honestly, name one game released in the past 4 years that didn't need a patch/have bugs when they put it out. I mean FFS, most console games have glitches and bugs that we have accepted with no way of fixing them. If you want to cry, either don't play, keep your comments to yourself, or go to reddit.

Stop assuming all negativity is coming from disgruntled WoW players.
Stop trying to compare the production value of a game released in 2004 and a game released in almost 2012.
Stop with this totalitarian-esque shit of "IF YOU DISLIKE ANY PART OF THIS GLORIOUS GAME WHATSOEVER THEN YOU'RE OPINION NO LONGER MATTERS, SHOO."
Also, TOR is competing with current day WoW -- not Vanilla WoW. So comparing it to Vanilla WoW is fallacious.
for me it is easily worth all the money i spend, played wow for a long time, never cared much for lore or stories, but i feel way different in swtor love the lvlin, crafting is very good, companion system is something new and enjoyable, havent tried pvp yet, and other than an occasional bugged mob didnt encounter any other bugs.
