Maybe it's just because I play a lot of no-stats games, but this has been my major beef with playing this game. I am never the first person to leave, and I'll play 3 v 5 until the game is completely over. Sure, I'll concede when it's really obvious we're losing, but I'm not talking about that. I'm talking about pure and simple rage-quitting because you won't be able to steamroll and pad your stats in this particular game. They should implement a system where you can't join a new game until the one you just left has ended or something, or allow a "complete" disconnect, where someone else could jump in and take control of that character. Or maybe it's just me playing no-stats too often. Does mass rage-quitting happen in normal MM games? Do yourself a favor and don't play nostats. It still happens in MM games but sooooooo less often.

I really need to just get a feel of all the units. It doesn't help that the guides in the market suck balls (when you press the buy key).

IMO they should make her a short-range hero, maybe 300 range, re-skin her so she isn't melee. Or maybe make her abilities more farming oriented.

Fayde absolutely curbstomps sub 1600 pubs. People have no map awareness and don't buy detection and so she snowballs with a ton of easy kills. The ult is essentially maphacks, I don't think she needs a rework as she has something which she can do really well.

It doesn't help that the guides in the market suck balls (when you press the buy key). i was serious when I told you that you need to work on your creep score. watch some pro vods/replays and look at how they farm, when they farm, etc. you'll notice that like 90% of the time they are farming and not running around back and forth getting nothing done. when you played in the in house i noticed that you had an abysmal creep score especially since you were in an unlosable lane match up and you had complete lane control. dying less is important too but remember that if you can't back up your score advantage with a gold advantage you're not actually very ahead at all. try to aim for at least 5x the time in your creep score when you play carries (at 10 minues 50 ck, at 20 100 ck, etc)

I myself is a second year Waterloo student, and there definitely is work to be done, but ppl just choose not to do it. I mean the university comp labs are full of rich apple macintosh computers and its not unusual to see ppl in those labs game away. But of course that's exactly how I made it past my first year XD

Yes but that's no excuse to have a low creep score. Often times in low level people claim they are doing everything correctly, they have good item builds, they ward and buy courier, etc, etc, but when I see them play half the time they are just running around getting absolutely nothing done.

To anyone to installed LoL during the HoN downtime: uninstall panda media booster. Apparently it updates patches torrent-style, so I was uploading their patch all the time. I'm kinda upset ![]()

It's weird, not bad or anything, just so many people I meet in DotA who are Canadian Asian are from Waterloo. The DotA Facebook group is like 3-4 Waterloo-ers serving as admins.

Oh, yeah, I dunno why that is. Hell, I used to live with Jing who is hella good at dota (and iirc he's one of the admins for fb dota group haha). If I had to guess, it's cause gamers usually do computer-related stuff in uni, and in canada, waterloo's the place to go for that so it attracts a lot of gamers as a side-effect. My first year, the RA on our floor specifically picked everyone who stated they were a gamer on the app. We had a whole floor of gamers, was sick. Can't tell you why dota in particular though
