I haven't really paid attention to s2 or hon outside of this thread, but my impression (solely from here so it's likely biased) is that s2 is pretty pathetic when it comes to their IT practices

Let me clarify, there's no practical timing for BH right now given the how the games have been playing out. I started watching replays heavily again and I am thoroughly convinced given the current strategies being played out, there is no practical timing for BH to hit...at any point in a serious game. The sole reason is this fucking hero: ![]() Why hit a timing for a hero other than Spec? Clinkz is good, but again doesn't see play much cause of Spec, so is Morph, but still loses to Spec late, etc. With the Doom changes, why use BH? VS roams better, as does Tide/ES. AA more sturdy to disruption as team support. Plus you still have SF which as Fearz's Wall has shown if played patiently can pay off a lot of dividend despite a weak early game. So...BH has nothing going for him despite the buffs and changes. With all the recent hero re-makes, SB shits on BH in particular. Just no reason to use BH until the game changes dramatically, cause right now its all about that mid game timing. At least PotM with good arrows can really strangle the opposing team, not so much for BH even with successful ganking. I remember reading this post a few days ago, so when I saw ZSMJ picking bounty as a solo in LGD vs EHOME, had to mention it http://www.dotacommentaries.com/index.php/commentaries/9405/ Probably helps that the other team went weaver, es was banned, and they have a doom. They have a team sprinting synergy going on with a devoured speed creep and track.

We managed to hold them off and both sides got megas. We just tried to throne it eventually but they used fortitude at 2% and killed most of us while we were just whacking the throne. In the end, 4 of legion was dead while 3 of hellbourne was still up. The throne was literally one hit away from dying and our FA got frozen by glacius.I thought we were screwed but her SKELETON walked up to the throne and killed it. And the replay is lost forever because it was in the last 2 weeks -_-. Woooooooooow that sounds epic both teams mega creeps throne base trade wowow

Raised some questions but they were cool with it. Teamliquid pride, bitches.

Where do you go to university?

It's a [insert any hero] with Doom/Enchant/VS cover mid-game...LGD's Weaver should never get to a point where the [insert any hero] can't catch up. Shit, VS/Enchant is enough to carry you over to mid, Doom just makes sure you stay in that rut even more.

Rage-quitting...guess because I'm a "leaver" But honestly though, when someone on my team leaves, or when my teammates feed, am I suppose to stay in the game, feeling unmotivated to play, and waste time?

Shit, VS/Enchant is enough to carry you over to mid, Doom just makes sure you stay in that rut even more. lgd's weaver wat? you mean ehomes? lgd just likes that hero, if they feel comfortable with him they can pick him, puck was also a really good pick that game since ehome couldnt ever escape the gank train and if lgd coordinated well it was hard to stop them with somebody doomed. tracks just an interesting addition to the train, iirc encantress got an extremely late boots (25 minutes or something), and bh worked nicely with the entire lineup and the lane setups lgd has been running. ehome was executing rather terribly anyway edit: LGD picked bh specifically, this is definitely not an in-general pick but its more than just the speed boost or mid game timing.

It's like... 1. Nigma's not a dev. 2. Hon is already on Garena in areas where piracy is rampant, by s2's own consent?

I think the Garena point is that its simple economics. It's better to have Hon on Garena in areas where piracy is rampant than to not have hon there at all.

The irony of that statement is lost on over half the current DotA player base. SB was only nerfed cause he was too dominating in pubs...and now after 4 years, we've come back full circle. Huskar is still pretty janky.
