Hell, I used to live with Jing who is hella good at dota (and iirc he's one of the admins for fb dota group haha). If I had to guess, it's cause gamers usually do computer-related stuff in uni, and in canada, waterloo's the place to go for that so it attracts a lot of gamers as a side-effect. My first year, the RA on our floor specifically picked everyone who stated they were a gamer on the app. We had a whole floor of gamers, was sick. Can't tell you why dota in particular though

The valk and pred avatars were limited edition and are therefore not available in the store. Since they aren't available in the store, when S2 sets all avatars in the store available, you don't get the ones that aren't in the store.

I think it's just because of the way it's coded. Everything is considered "purchased" when it's unlocked. Personally, I like looking at my 4k silver and it gives me a chance to try some of the alt heroes before purchasing them.

S2 is busy enough fixing the stability issues, they're not going to drop everything to re-code their temporary unlock so people can spend their coins early on things they're already able to use.

Pubstomp only heroes are the worst designed heroes. Every effort should be made to change them.
Not used competitively so just dead weight/space.
Annoying for newbie players to have to work around (basically not letting them get farmed)
Annoying for mid level players who have to suffer people who think they are cool and use them when they offer nothing to the team.

ill just assume you have trouble with "guessing" where the creepwave is while it is in fog or uphill - which is really no problem if you keep in mind that the map is mirrored. if you want to see creep positions for enemy mid creeps, check the minimap for your own mid creeps. if you want to know where the enemy creeps on the top lane are, check your bot lane and vice versa. use towers as landmarks and thats it. hitting all the creeps once you know where they will come is pretty easy and can be practiced in single player.

Actually, yes you can save replays clientside, don't know if it's possible to automate though. ReplayRecordStart and ReplayRecordStop are your friends
