I've now played probably 150-175 games with Hag and if I think the BH is going mid I try to convince someone on my team to go jungle so I can solo a lane(not all together difficult). I'm not really scared of any other mid though...but yea Hag and BH is just bad for Hag. You can still do things if the BH is terrible but that's a gamble. | ||

just get ur q at lvl 1 and keep it on his head and focus on hitting him when hes in range and pulling the creeps around to make it hard for him to last hit | ||

I disagree with getting slow early on qop/hag, it doesn't really offer more than another scream would. If you let bh/bs get a free passage to level 5 it can he a lot harder if he knows what he's doing. Basically you don't let him get near a wave without receiving a nuke and 3-4 attacks. Edit: If you're at a level where people will actually reply when you ask for an early gank in mid then that's definately the easiest, insta-shutdown. courier+6 native/+3/+3/blight/tango is my standard solo queue build in low tier pubs and it works particularly well on qop/hag imo. A fast bottle into treads/steam secures lane victory quite easily if you manage to get it fast enough, if your mechanics aren't good enough to harass properly getting the max out of treads/steam then going for a spam build might be better. | ||

Edit:assuming youre both mid it'll definitely fluctuate, it's far from a perfect metric  I'd say 100 swings aren't out of the question but when I used to play I atleast could see a reasonable progression in psr over larger samples of games. But physically breaking 1700 is not somewhere where I got to, but then again I didn't really grind it out that much I only played 2 days of rated games before MM was the norm. as for BH mid, his earlier levels of life leech aren't really enough for him to viably farm off of - my question to players better than me is 1. is it really a bad thing to force bh into either investing all his stats into his life thing (or forsake farm) and 2. is rushing straight for something like ghost marchers a good idea to just out last hit him by the point he can farm at? as I understand it BH hits like a pansy before getting his first big dmg item. But yeah I find it hard to harrass a bh hell just recover all the harrass with a few good last hits because his damage/animation is so much better than hags =/. I've always been told to 2v1 him but then if you're playing a hero like ss or hag you're gimping the CRAP out of your levels. the sugguestion for a TP stone is really good. | ||

Sure wasting all your time auto attacking him with haunt on him can be annoying but it won't beat him and you'll have a dumb skillset with no farm when he hits 6-7. Not dying is not winning. As for counters to hag middle, almost everyone? Hag can do "decent" against anyone but barring a large skill difference she doesn't "rape" anyone; mid is generally for levels to gank with and runes. She is also absolutely horrible against many mids. For example, aluna, puppet, flint, cd, arachna, etc completely destroy her. It's easy to say "use scream to farm." It's just like people on the HON forums saying "use call to farm" for valk. Top notch BH is gonna get 95% of the CK, denies and last hits combined, and ignore you. If you can hit a BH enough at level 1 with a level 1 haunt to drive him out of the lane before he can heal from a couple hatchet last hits then he's simply bad and your anecdotal evidence is not accurate for higher level games. The "way" to beat BH mid is to either 1v2 him (and that doesn't mean sending a support to help your normal mid, it means sending your normal 2 person lane mid like a babysit + carry and sending your mid to the 1v2 lane) or toughing it out, not dying, then abandoning the lane and going to help your team own the other lanes. Don't leave him FOREVER, don't let him have a free radiance, but sitting in lane while his last hit power gets stronger and stronger and you become more and more gimped by 95% denied XP is worthless. You can get the runes first and then you can kill the sidelanes. Not trying to be offensive or say you're wrong, although I do disagree with you. As someone asked for the PSR level of another person who had the same mindset as me, I'll just say that my MMR is 1900 on several accounts and hag is one of my most played and favorite heros. Oh and about myrmidon: items to get on him are generally tanky-ish items like a hotbl, but if your team needs it try going for a push staff or a cyclone stick depending on opponents (like a pharoah, for instance). Myrm doesn't usually get farm for that kinda stuff very early in the current "metagame" because he's a trilane support + a great roamer, so he's very rarely getting any farm. | ||

One thing i do disagree strongly with is the notion that a BH, between 2 equally skilled players, will get 95% of the creeps and denies. This to me simply seems not true, and even 70% would seem too much although, like i say this is also only from my experience. Seems abit superfluous to add "from my experience" nothing we think, say, believe or assert is anything beyond our experience but meh.. Also seems abit superfluous to write this sentence about the last.... Also see......... :O | ||

What cs until level 3 where you can out-damage him with level 2 hands? EDIT: say you get some cs. You still won't outdamage him with autoattacks. Hatchet/shield will rape you. | ||
