When you're significantly better than the people you play with/agaisnt, you will win a majority of your games - end of story. This is actually true believe it or not sometimes I'm on my smurf literally trying to lose games because it's mmr is too high and I still end up winning

I'm really really bad though so maybe my observations are incorrect. Slither beats him, even with the toxicity nerf. Just keep smacking him, the regeneration debuff is nasty when he only has level 1-2 feast. When you get him to half health, spray and chase him with toxicity. Other melees do really well against him too, you just out-last hit him. Pebbs/Gaunt/Moraxx mid can beat him in farm, and then gank lanes. He does lay a hurt on alot of heros though. The thing is, his mid-game is nothing compared to pebbs and company, and his late is pretty bad too. You need points in feast for him to be awesome, and you need points in his other skills to gank effectively... He needs a buff IMO. Most likely something to make feast worth having beyond the laning phase.

One thing i do disagree strongly with is the notion that a BH, between 2 equally skilled players, will get 95% of the creeps and denies. This to me simply seems not true, and even 70% would seem too much although, like i say this is also only from my experience. Seems abit superfluous to add "from my experience" nothing we think, say, believe or assert is anything beyond our experience but meh.. Also seems abit superfluous to write this sentence about the last.... Also see......... :O 95% may be hyperbole but it was to make a point. Also saying "from my experience" is an expression that means that I could be wrong based on my purely anecdotal evidence. That's why we have varying levels of believability based on a number of things including credentials. I wouldn't believe an armchair anthropologist but I would believe a field anthropologist using the expression.

+ Show Spoiler + I just don't understand how people can be so miserably bad at a video game. I just recently started playing HoN but came in with some DoTA/LoL knowledge but fuck me I can't catch a break. Every game I'm in I get at least two retards who don't know the first fucking thing of what they're doing usually going like 1/7/0 and then leaving the game. To add to this the free week gave me the great opportunity of getting a Bubbles and SB that continually ran mid giving Deadwood 66 kills and me a leave and 11 deaths from fountain in the process. Anyone have any suggestion on a champion or strat that stomps to and through 1500MMR? Playing with people who don't know how to aim ults, know what to build or how to right-click is getting to me. Fuck. *Meditates*

Edit: Just to put it into perspective for those of you who don't know, the best places to find PUGs for the semi-competitive and competitive are still on IRC for DotA despite the leaps and bounds that IHLs have undergone since the first IHCS, which is kind of sad. Edit 2: This is also why I find the MM system and stats system horrid for these kind of games. Pairing up 10 semi-random people together in a 5v5 is akin to chopping your own dick off when just 1 person can swing the game dramatically. That makes it extremely difficult for newbies to get into it. And if you are expecting the "coaching" system to help for Dota 2...just think of people like me raging at you, telling you what to do, but doing so intensely? And that's coming from people who actually know what to do, but instead getting paired up with a coach that's like one of the billion "skilled" DotA players from NA with some of the shittiest manners? Yeah.

But that makes me mad again, I really enjoy DoTA games but some of these players....just....wow. Anyway, thanks for the suggestions. Gonna stop clouding up the forum with random bitching now. Good luck in whatever game you're in atm ! ;D

I'm warding, farming pretty well, getting kills and it all counts for nothing when top is 0/11 combined and practically suiciding followed by the whole ''this game is stupid'' leaving. So aggravating.
