When you've played enough games to easily gauge most situations with competency, it's better to emphasize a passive style because your experience is the key to winning battles. Sure, you can be aggressive because you know you can, but aggression is by far a short-term strategy because being aggressive forces you into unknown territory and jumping into a fight with an instant disadvantage will lose you so many battles.

Some of the most dominating teams we have ever seen: VP, MYM, SMM Winners, Chinese teams have been focused around aggressive play. When you begin playing, you don't know when to be aggressive or not and just randomly starting to be aggressive doesn't help you learn faster when you can and can't be aggressive. If you begin by playing passive then you learn when they go aggressive on you and know when it works or not which you can apply to your own game play. Basic sc analogy: If you are zerg, you won't learn the game very well if you 6 pool every game and determine when you can't. You can always 6 pool, just like you can always be aggressive in dota. Instead being passive and getting 6 pooled yourself will let you know when it works and when it doesn't. As for the 2nd part. When you play enough to recognize situations with competency you will be aggressive when it calls for it because it is not a short term strategy. Specifically regarding the Chinese teams and the farm era. You might call that passive, but in the lane they are aggressive as VP or SP or any russian team ever was. Only from that point do they aggressively force you into a situation where you had to push or lose your own towers while 1 person farmed like a boss. That is strategy aggression and it made a lot of balance changes happen.

Especially if they had the chance to get their own players. Or at least he should have played under his real account as ringer.

Their proof, sucks that they had to ruin a good series by not telling them they were using a ringer. =/

Just would've ended after game 1. They probably should've just told them (Rea/GG) straight up for the second match: at least that way they forfeit one match and still win one, and now they're probably going to just get disqualified. And hell, maybe Rea or GG would've allowed them. THAT BEING SAID, I would've preferred them to have finished the game first, rather than concede mid game.

2. what do you mean had i initiated, they came to push our first tier mid tower while i was at a side lane, and when they came i was on my way; nor does that change the fact that a few of you just started bitching at me for leaving the lost teamfight so that i could die with you? 3. no i wasn't, i was on the cliff right next to rosh, if anyone still has that replay i would ask them to confirm for me also my entire point was that you guys repeatedly just got really mad for seemingly no reason, and we weren't even in danger of losing the entire game yet somehow people started raging at me for not constantly following them
