I don't think they'll go the way of 3s which featured Makoto damage increase SAs and Yun custom combo SAs. Those both proved to be pretty broken, and it was far more common to see multiple SAs used each round than Ultras and Supers in SF4.

s.mp is used great because unlike hp it won't die to focus.
cr.lp / mp work well because people tend to not be blocking low at full screen so they can get you a little extra fireball damage.
The thing that interests me the most are yoga tower applications. I noticed iyo abusing it vs viper to dodge seismos and fuerte for some reason when he had knocked feurte down and was right next to him. Some of rogs dash punches definitely go straight through it as well, and YT completely dodges grabs and throws (even hooligan and demonflip I think).

Part of me would love to see makoto rushing shit down in 4. Part of me never wants to have to block that stupid whore again. I'm not holding my breath either way

alright just got back from NYC for the sf fight club. gotta say was super disappointed when the invitation says "test out new characters" but it was just demonstration of juri/thawk/djay by the top players. especially since me and my friends drove from philly to nyc and waited in lien for 2 hours
but was a great event despite how crowded it was. was in a skateboarding clothe store thats capacity is 200 people but had about 300 people in at the same time .
however new TvC looks great. justin vs marn zero/zero was hella hype. might check it out. mvc2 was there but everyone was just playing out tvc/sf4.
also met lots of top players and developers, most notably justin, joe, sanford, seth killian etc. will be meeting em again at NECX.
as far as wht i saw during the playtest demos, juri has a good forward RH that can juggle into ALOT of stuff like her super and her cartwheelish kick(possibly her ultra we've seen?). also she has a dash move where she sprints a lil forward, looks great for closing space. also she seems like shes awesoem air to air. she has i think air MP which kickdowns in air and can link to ultra in corner. she also has an ex divekick move where it beats lots of stuff air to air and if u hit them when they on ground it hits em 3 times and bounces them off the wall kinda like ryu's ex donkey kick in 3rd strike. also breaks armor. probably can lead to sick combos. also ultra looks liek it can combo off alot of stuff in corner, especially when justin did c.MK cartwheel kick into ultra in corner. her pokes seem decent enough to possibly footsies on par with shotos/rog. not much was shown about her second ultra. lastly, juri has an interesting feature with her taunt. she she taunts she sticks her hand out and directs them to her. if u get attacked during this motion, u can dash a ninja dash back or forth or straight up and u absorb it as if it was a focus. its basically kind of like a "getaway focus armor". as seth said. seems great for gettign away from a jumpin, but not sure wht happens during multiple hits.
djay really took the show thou. his slide sweep is pretty slow and probably punishable, but if used at the tip its probably safe , great range, and pretty nice damage. His ex d,u punch uppercut move has pretty chunky damage, breaks armor, and can be easily comboed. EX version is invincibility frames from wht i saw. also i saw some good chains like jump-in c.short,c.jab,s.MP, dread kicks does good damage and looked relatively easy. EX DREAD KICKS LOOK SO GODLIKE. if the 2nd hits it puts them in almost a level fa2 stun. so it seems liek u get an extra fuckign combo after ex dreadkicks hits. surprisingly i didnt c his normal upkick, but ex is about 5 hits but really vertical (ala gouken hurricane kick vertical). however his ultra looks like it can combo off some stuff like rufus. i saw ex dreadkicks into ultra does MASSIVE damage (or juri takes mroe damage prolly), and possibly upkicks and ex machine gun blow could link into ultras. his c.MK/s.HK look really good and awesome range. c.MK knocks down and is fucking fast. also s.MP(?) looks liek a decent 1 button anti-air and juggles them possibly leading into followups like rufus's f.FK.
like i said thou i was in the middle and didn't get a great glimpse of everything. i could be wrong on all this but i was following the cam and seth's commentary during the playtest. but met lots of new people, partied in NY for a lil bit, got some pics of top players and games, got to see some ssf4, and got a few games in. thou i was SUPER bummed when it wasnt out for us to play
edit: also somehow justin's entourage got tekken6 already for ps3. i saw dude open a bag and he had it already. was like wth.

Yun's CC ability by itself isn't broken at all. Yun's CC SA was broken because he could basically turtle and whiff normals to get a full bar. Also his super bar charge really fast because it was extremely short. SF4, you can't whiff normals to get meter anymore. Super bar charges incredibly slow.

going back to momochi's viper, he pulls off viper's hard trial mode #3 combo, which is mp, jump cancel, ultra. sick to pull off in a match.

Played this in the Arcades while waiting for my Girlfriend.. fucking hell it's so addicting!
I got kicked the shit out of a semi-pro but that didn't stop me from going forth and not learning the game.
The point of this post is just to commend anyway, SF4 is fucking awesome!
