This shit is just ridiculous.. It's like the 2nd trial on NORMAL too, so I can't do ANYTHING until I get this fucking kick (or, lack of). Does capcom even screen their games?  btw is sagat considered a shoto? | ||

I'm teaching my room mate how to do link combos, kara grab, and post ex tatsu mixup with ken and he's already funner to play against than most <2000 bp Kens after 2 days of play. Also Sagat isn't a shoto, he doesn't have a hurricane kick or part of the Ryu gangster crew. I'd rather have his fireballs and tiger knee though. Anyone have any advice on how to play Gief against Sagat? | ||

Make your way a bit closer, look for a chance to EX green hand your way in, or if you are pretty close you can fish for a s.RH (to kick him in the face if he tries to fireball, or to whiff -> SPD lulz). It's really not that bad of a fight all things considered, you have no reason to jump at Sagat so it's harder for Sagat to get easy damage and he can't keep you out all day unless you're just flailing. | ||

'Cause from my experiences yesterday, his KKK lariat gets hit by Sagat's high fireballs and his PPP one lasts so long that it can be hit by a 2nd fireball before you can block. =/ | ||

I haven't tried stuffing fireball with roundhouse yet though, that'll be helpful. I've gotten ex-banishing flat punish fireballs pretty much down. Whiff-ex ban flat into 720 is satisfying as hell. Man, I sold out so hard playing Gief. | ||

Just having any kind of competition will help you improve a lot especially if your local competition is nonexistent. | ||
