Thus a major leak if legit. https://www.wowhead.com/diablo-4/news/unreleased-zones-spotted-in-diablo-4-steam-version-335667 They apparently leaked in the beta too. probably content they cut just to release as "new" for an expansion or update

Now one has to wonder if they will show some of it at Blizzcon. How the **** they will make the last supposed to work when nobody fucking talks in this game is beyond me... just do what Diablo 2 did but worse. The leak also says the Kurast region from Diablo II will be added alongside several new features, including but not limited to:
As realistic as they may sound, these details should be taken with a grain of salt for the time being. Meanwhile, Diablo IV has recently launched on Steam (where it was review-bombed from the get-go) and started its second season, Season of Blood. Aside from the temporary suspension of the trading feature due to a duplication exploit, the new Diablo IV season appears to have addressed several community concerns by reducing leveling grind and dungeon backtracking while increasing loot drop percentages. https://wccftech.com/diablo-iv-expansion-might-be-called-lord-of-hatred-adding-kurast-from-diablo-ii/

Then that was changed to only a few zones (which 2 of them look very similar). Now we will get the rest of the eastern continent on an expantion it seems, but unfortunately I think that means we will never get the rest of the world.

Spiritborn - sounds too similar to druid Mercenary - feels like more busywork to gear and skill up, this game has already way too much of that Runes - may be interesting, but again, this game has already way too much busywork in its crafting systems Raids - FUCK NO Season 2 does sound interesting though, I might make a new char once I'm done with some other games I'm currently playing.

Since everyone is sharing their opinions, I'll add my 2 cents as well: in my opinion, the biggest problem is the affix table. Way too many conditional affixes roll on gear and just muddy the waters or poison the well that otherwise could've been a perfectly usable item. This season I am playing necro and am looking for: core skill damage, blood skill damage, overpower damage when it comes to dealing damage, and the usual suspects like essence cost reduction%, cooldown reductrion%, life%, armor%, +skill levels on armor. Now look at this: ![]() Tell me how many of these you ACTUALLY would consider keeping on your gear instead of rerolling them.

Between this and the almost permanent 25% discount on Blizzard/Steam 3 months after the launch (which I have never ever seen in any previous Blizzard game), they must be REALLY starving for active players...

Over half those affixes could be removed and simplified i.e. Frost, Chilled and just make it into Cold dmg etc. Gods I miss Blizzard North. They knew what they were doing.
