I hadn't bought any TMs until "preparing" for the Elite Four, but I just realized that Skeledirge can learn Seed Bomb, a grass move to counter any water, ground, or rock types that could have been strong against fire. So I think he's invincible at this point lmao. One or two shotted every elite four Pokemon, as well as Geeta and Nemona's. It really is a fun game though ![]()

2. FF 1-10 (and others) are all available on Switch: ![]() 3. Just started a new RPG called Trinity Trigger. Loving the art style, the combat is a little basic but solid, and the maps/dungeons are well created. It's a pretty fun game overall. ________ So guys... Zelda leaked. I may or may not know someone who played the beggining and a little more of it, but won't play anymore until release and gets his official copy. That person may or may not have the following first impresion: Holy shit. Some general things regarding the size of the map and npcs (non story, and not big spoilers, but spoilers nontheless) + Show Spoiler + Only played the tutorial part, the equivalent of the great Pleateu, and a little bit more just to explore some specific things. The map from BOTW has changed, Won't go into much details but one of the changes is there are caves now. I have no recolection at all of some zones in the map, and I'm sure I went to those areas in BOTW so that means some zones substantially changed. Some others though are basically the same.I must say even if the area is the same if they have NPCs they have new quests and all new dialog, the NPCs feel more "involved" now. It seems there's more to do. The game is much bigger than I expected. All in all I'd say the map is about twice as big if not more. The main map is the same size but the sky islands are bigger than I thought. Most of them anyway, some are very very small and you'll only find a chest or something. The trailers show some underground areas. I will just say those are different than caves. One last thing, In botw you help build a town. In this game it seems there will be more instances of you having a direct and lasting effect in the world. Not sure if you'll help rebuild towns specificaly or anything, didn't get far enough. But it seems you can...change some things in the world... I can't wait until the 12 to purchase it. People who thought it was just DLC are way wrong. I can't believe they fit so much content here. If you have any questions I might or might not be able to ask my friend

If you have any questions I might or might not be able to ask my friend I'm avoiding any significant TotK spoilers because I absolutely want to experience the inevitable amazing magic that is / will be that game, and I've been trying to rack my brain for anything that would be disappointing/frustrating for me, and I think I came up with something that your friend could probably answer (and it wouldn't be a big spoiler): One of the new abilities - Ultrahand? - seems to be used *a lot* to construct vehicles and a bunch of other large, multi-part objects. On the upside, building these things can be seen as interesting puzzles (and satisfying once you get them to work properly); on the downside, they could end up being very time-consuming and frustrating and detracting from the exploration experience. I'm wondering how much of a concern the latter is. (I've heard that you keep/remember the blueprints of anything functional that you've built once before, so that you can auto-build it again and not need to waste time recreating it from scratch over and over; if that's the case, then it would really help mitigate the potential annoyance I'm concerned about.

+ Show Spoiler + Basically, yes there is a way to save what you build however you don’t get the ability until later in the game. In my friends play through he actually didn’t get that far, but he started the quest to get it. Interestingly the quest doesn’t indicate you’ll get that so some people might miss it at first. The rest I know from leaks from IGN Japan. If you want to know the specifics of how the ability works (I won’t say where you get it): + Show Spoiler + You can store things you make like blueprints. And then if you have the materials in your inventory and a resource you can get in the world you can “auto build” them. And for the record it hasn’t feel daunting. If anything I wish I had more access to parts but obviously you get more access as the game progresses.

Will there be new product announcements? No such announcements are planned. Nintendo Live 2023 is first and foremost an in-person celebration of Nintendo fun for all members of the family. That being said, I guess they could announce something before the event and it would still be true.

He also commented on the sales target for this year. "Given that recent year-on-year sales have been declining by more than 20%, the target of 15 million units ... is a bit of a stretch." To offset the Switch's decline and get back on the growth track, many are calling on the company to introduce a new console. One is rumored to be due out next year. "Development seems to be progressing well," a source close to Nintendo told Nikkei Asia. "But a product launch won't happen before next spring at the earliest." https://asia.nikkei.com/Business/Media-Entertainment/Nintendo-expects-Switch-sales-to-slow-further-this-year

It's already past the ~120M of GB and PS4.

Switch is at 125M by March 2023 and Nintendo is forecasting 140M by March 2024. DS was at 146M when the 3DS was released and ended up at 154M. So it all depends on when the new console gets released, how well it is received and how much stock they can get out in its initial years. Here's hoping it will be something like the Switch 2 instead of some Wii U flop.

The switch was announced on october and released in march....but Nintendo had already announced it more than a year prior.. just under the name "NX". There were tons of leaks before the switch announcement (actual leaks, not just rumours), dev kits, patents, game developers talking about it, etc. There's nothing like that currently, just rumours. Also, nintendo announces hrdware about a year or more in advance. The Wii was announced september 2005, and released more than a year later in novemeber 2006. (We also knew about it before that, as the "nintendo revolution". As for the WiiU, on April 25, 2011 Nintendo said they would announce a new console at E3 that year, and thus the WiiU was presented on June 2011. It was released more than a year later on November 2012. Same thhing with the 3ds. Nintendo confirmed no new consoles this fiscal year (until march 2024). so basically, zero chance of a new console being released anytime soon. The soonest I can see them releasing one would be by the end of 2024. ________________ Also, some updated sales figures: Top 10 Best Selling Switch Games: Mario Kart 8 Deluxe - 53.79M Animal Crossing: New Horizons - 42.21M Super Smash Bros. Ultimate - 31.09M Breath of the Wild - 29.81M Pokemon Sword/Shield - 25.82M Super Mario Odyssey - 25.76M Pokemon Scarlet/Violet - 22.10M Super Mario Party - 19.14M New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe - 15.41M Ring Fit Adventure - 15.38M Other titles (as of March 31, 2023): Xenoblade Chronicles 3 - 1.86M Fire Emblem Engage - 1.61M Kirby Return to Dreamland Deluxe - 1.46M Metroid Prime Remastered - 1.09M Bayonetta 3 - 1.07M
