I did the three other chapter 4 bosses first and then went back with better gear and it was no problem. Additional difficulty of doing Ochette first is that her final boss town is her starting town and so there are no good equipment upgrades to purchase :p | ||

+ Show Spoiler + 8/10 of a movie. The MVP of the entire film is obviously Jack Black, second place surprisingly is Seth Rogen imo as DK. Believe Charlie Day had more than one character to voice, he was Luigi but also, almost positive, the opposing plumber at the start of the film. Maybe I'm mistaken. Lot of easter eggs in the movie such as games like Jump Man, Princess Peach's castle is the same layout as the one in N64 games. Also the same desert level as the n64 game as well. Rainbow road, the Blue Shell as the last weapon of the bad guy. Himself. When they get sucked into the pipe I'm almost positive Luigi's tools etc. is made to resemble his equipment he has for the Haunted Mansion games. Jack Black sings in the movie, also there is a mid credits scene after it ends. | ||

Every song, sound effect, character, and seemingly innocuous phrase and image. 92 minutes of pure nostalgia, two separate post-movie scenes during the credits, and the guarantee of a well-deserved sequel. You won't be getting a super deep plot, but if you had a Super Mario childhood, you won't be disappointed. It was exactly the feel-good movie I was hoping it would be. I was happily surprised with how the voice acting ended up (the only two voices I didn't enjoy was Donkey Kong's and Cranky Kong's). It surpassed my expectations, and it was basically impossible to not poke my wife every 10 seconds to see if she caught every reference (she did too... another reason why she's the best). | ||
