Well I got my pulls today. Picked Lyn. Went pulling for greens for Ike. Got really bad luck for first ~15 pulls (I didn't even get a single green orb on 7 pulls). Turns out karma paid me back because I got a 5* G Ike, 5* Ninian, and another 5* Horse Lyn from this last pull.

I'll take it lol.

I'm definitely taking Lyn because I want a horse archer, even though I'm critically low on 5* greens (out of about 30 5* heroes, a whopping 4 are green). So my question to you, Team Liquid FE people, is this: do I upgrade Nino or Cecilia to 5*?

Never upgrade cecilia. If anything 4* + 10 her for horse emblem

Nino you can, but only if you got a blade tome setup ready to go (she still decent by herself, just not balls to the walls amazing)

Spent 60 or so of those saved up Orbs I had and got Ike, Roy, and Lucina. Tempted to go for Lyn to complete the set, but in the middle of it all I just happened to grab Takumi and I'm thinking maybe I should just be satisfied with him being a badass instead.

So.. can I just throw those four on a team and be done? :D

I don't know the stats on Roy, but my Xander is my go to Red unit currently. He is a beast at countering most stuff and really only needs Quick Riposte SI to slaughter any archers/green phys.

Will see if I change my arena team around once I get my Ike/Lyn leveled up. Still using Soren/Subaki/Xander +1 (atm its Gray because he obliterates horse emblem, but this will change when Subaki rotates out of bonus).

The Black Knight is one of the main villians in both PoR/RD. He is quite a formidable foe since most times you fight him he is a beast and you have no chance of killing him.

So now that my Ike is almost 40, he is seriously such a defensive hero lol. You basically have 1 hit to activate Luna on every attack. Urvan -1 charge time so it has a charge of 2, then getting hit gives you 2 charges per hit. So you always counter attack with Luna.

Also, I don't know if this is intended, but if you double an opponent when you get attacked (say a Xander attacks me with 24 speed). My 2nd attack also gives me the extra special charge of 2 instead of just 1. So my very next attack will be a luna again.

Aether will actually be decently usable on Ike if I want to go with it. Always active vs brave units is really really nice.

I pulled a +DEF -SPD and gave him bonfire - he's tanky as hell. Nice to get -SPD on one of the few units who actually enjoys it. He has a really interesting design, definitely a nice change of pace compared to the glass cannons that are so common.

I already mashed ~150 orbs trying for him (not pulling exclusively greens though). I still have about 100 left I just haven't bitten the bullet yet lol
