Hmm, so I pulled 3 Julias from Hero Fest so far (no Ninians or Ikes to be seen yet T_T), got a +def/-hp, +res/-atk and +def/-spd. I'm honestly not too sure which one to stick with right now. +res/-atk I can definitely still use since I have plenty of Glacies to inherit onto her to remedy the attack. +def/-hp is kind of neutral and the one I'm primarily using atm. +def/-spd sounds still usable but I'm not too sure if Julia's speed tier is all that amazing to preserve.

I feel like Glacies does not make up for reduced attack, I mean mathematically you're losing 12 damage over 4 attacks to gain 2-3 damage from your special. I'd also go with +def/-hp. Julia's resistance is high enough that the reduced points won't affect too many mage matchups, I think, and the +def balances out the -hp for fighting physical heroes.

I'll have to look into pulling some stuff then! Right now my main blue flyer is 4* Subaki (Although I have a 4* Cordelia, I prefer Subaki's defense to her offense). If I get a good Tana I could possibly replace Subaki in my Arena team.

Fair enough, was mulling that because of the oversupply of Firs I have (demand of 0, supply of more than 0, go figure) and the need to have them be at least somewhat useful as fodder since I dislike sending units home.
I am leaning on the +def/-hp one currently. Useful in Tempest due to Breath of Life with the new seal as well. I'm just deciding on what to do with the extras. Merging into a non-ideal Julia is iffy at best but they don't provide any crucial skills for SI either. Really expensive BoL or Dragon Fang inheriting? Maybe once I run completely out of Corrins, Sophias, Felicias and Florinas? (Which would be never.) (Inheriting legendary weapons when, Nagas for EVERYBODY!)

Would this be an ideal time to use Orbs, then? I've just been saving up because I haven't known the optimal time to use 'em, and I've got something like 330 in the bank.
Would there be a better "banner" to use them during? (I'm not even sure what a banner is, really. Never really went into the complexities of gacha games)

All a banner does is give you a higher % on the heroes in that banner. If you click the details it shows 5* Focus on top of 5*. That focus is an increased chance compared to other heroes to get the hero from the banner.
And you can use your orbs whenever! I use them to get heroes I like and enjoy playing with.

They don't do anything for you if they just sit around, though!
Honestly though, with that many orbs, you can pick any banner and you'll probably roll at least a few good 5* heroes. Sometimes I start hoarding orbs/feathers/heroes too and I have to remind myself that when I do that in other games, I just never use them ever and wind up missing out on stuff.

So.. I don't suppose anyone has general advice for who to level up with feathers? Considering I have 150k, I should probably use them. Are there staple heroes I should be getting to 5 stars?
Never actually looked into improving my stuff, derp. Just kinda been completing quests and enjoying the game as it is, gathering resources over time.

As for the guy with orbs, you can use them whenever, but ig you want roy ike lyn or lucina, you should wait for the choose your legenda banner that's coming out soon.

I pulled Tana pretty quickly, got lucky. I think I got a 5* Ninian from my free pull on one of the other recent banners too. Had forgotten to do those.
Good to know about the Lucina banner coming up though. Been trying to get her for a while. Will be fun to have a full set of 5*'s to level again if I get a bit luckier.

Hmm, pulled a 4th Julia from Hero Fest, too bad its -atk/+def this time. I don't know if this is lucky or not but 4 5*s within like 80-90 orbs is great and all but they're all Julia. T_T With pretty shit IVs too in general. Watch as I pull a +atk one on a random banner free pull the moment I turn my -hp/+def into a super +3 Julia.
On the other hand, Hero Fest did give me some pretty sweet 4*s like a +atk Eliwood and +atk Effie. Been waiting for both of those to come along. Also finally got my first Hinata, which I'm almost unreasonably extremely happy about even though he's a 3*.

I've used my feathers to upgrade all of the starters to 5*, to get the bonus level from merging allies (maybe 3 times overall), and otherwise I use them to upgrade 3* to 4* for SI. Also upgraded Eliwood to 5* for cavalry team. Otherwise, getting 5* from pulls has been working just fine for me.

Damn, I lucked out. i blew 100~ orbs at the start of hero fest and didnt get anything. Managed to farm up another 70 between arena reset, tempest, chain trials, and logins pulled 2x Julia and a Cecila off of Hero Fest and a Corrin off of the last 20 i spent on Summer. dont think i've been so lucky the whole time I've played FEH.
time to spam sacred stones, some of these units are nutty.
edit: TT is really nice now with the 2x triple score and continuous auto, im actually bothering to play past 40k. currently sitting at 63k score.
