It depends on your teammates being co-ordinated enough to keep everything in the gym at a decent CP gap. Going from undercutting a 1500 Vaporeon, to a 1900 Nidoqueen, to a 2k+ Gyarados was a major hassle, resulting in just dealing with the first two. Found another gym with reasonable groupings, but the rewards hardly felt worth the effort.
Gym stagnation was a thing that could be seen as an issue, but by making both of these changes at the same time I feel it's swung too hard the other way.

Holy hell the PokemonGo subreddit had gotten toxic since the last update started rolling out. Apparently you can no longer use Pokestops above a certain speed. Can't say I blame Niantic for making this choice.
Anyway, winter is here and I noticed that my phone battery didn't last as long as it used to, even on a shorter walk (totaling ~6 km).

i removed myself from all of the pokemon facebook groups and pokemongo subreddit because they were too negative/toxic, full of cheaters and whiners.

It's a 1km radius now I think, while the normal sightings is just 200m. So (1000/200)^2 is 25x the area

You might've messed it up, I thought 10km egg hatches are 75%+? That's the best defensive moveset but if it's 67% its a little disappointing

I'm still in one generic facebook group for PokemonGo in Sweden. There is some occasional complains but no way near the levels of r/PokemonGo. Plus, most of the posts is basically "Look what I caught"

Is there an official or unofficial log of changes? Seems like spawn rates have changed. Eevees were pretty common before but now they are everywhere.

It feels like spawn rates changes every major patch for me. Before the halloween update, Drowzees were super-common in one part of the town where I live. Have barely seen anyone since then

Is it me or are all Pokestops now giving 6+ stuff for 50 XP?
|
Yep, widespread reports of the amount of items coming from Pokestops having increased suddenly. Perhaps in response to the speedlocking.
And it's not just the PokemonGo reddits that are negative. This thread generally has a pretty negative vibe about the game and Niantic as well. It's just the internet's standard negativity, except they're all boosting each other because being negative towards the game is seen as the norm now.
It's kinda funny, if I talk to anyone online about the game, it's rage. Every person I've talked to about the game in real life is enjoying it just fine.

Eevee have spiked in spawning since the common spawn suppression.

so, took the level 10 gym down to level 3 (ran out of potions, god lapras suck ass to beat). it is much easier than before. as an another example, my level 10 gym at work is no longer valor..... its shifting red, blue and yellow over and over again. hopefully, taking down the yellow 10 gym across the street will distract the instinct people.
i like this attacker benefit even though im now fighting for my coins.

I like the attacker benefit because I'm now able to fight for my coins.

I actually had the first collect 10 morning without taking a gym back in a long time today... we'll see if that holds up.
I noticed a couple stops giving a buttload of items as well. That's a nice adjustment on their part if that's really an increase.
