The only WoW beta I've been apart of was Vanilla WoW all those years ago LOL | ||

Blizzard adds shitload of cool ablities and mechanics to an FPS arena-like game with an as always awesome art design. Adding more heroes and maps constantly. Isn't it already cool? I don't understand. | ||

I'm glad we see all heroes unlocked in Beta. I know some people are still holding off because Heroes of the Storm' business model. They need to see who picks what when given a free choice, if the heroes are balanced, etc. That is much harder to do if you restrict players' choices in beta. | ||

It wouldn't make sense in the first place for heroes not to be free since the ability to transition during games to counter the opponents strategy is part of the game. That's unlike League of Legends where most people just wanna play their favourite champion for the specific role. With regards to Heroes of the Storm, I think the developers thought that it would be more similar to League of Legends in that picking a specific champion for the comp wouldn't be super essential for the majority of the playerbase. However, because the heroes in that game kinda play them selves and (very low skill cap), P/B-phase is extremely important, whereas P/B-phase first really becomes important in competitive play in League of Legends. And going back to Overrwatch, I think the developers have desgined the heroes in mind with it being important to switch during games. Disagree. They need to see who picks what when given a free choice, if the heroes are balanced, etc. That is much harder to do if you restrict players' choices in beta. You could have argued the same about HOTS, but that didn't turn out to be the case. | ||
