I feel like the lack of Baleful Offhands/Shields and the really awful stats on Baleful/Mythic Dungeon trinkets are mistakes though. I had Bonemaw's Big Toe drop and I just stared at it for a while. It had literally half the Strength of Vial of Convulsive Shadows despite being exactly the same iLvl. That doesn't seem like something that fits with Blizzard "you should be able to judge by iLvl" schtick from recent interviews. | ||

The Tanaan one is actually pretty good. For my spec at least, with agil + crit + multistrike or especially straight crit, at 695 it might not beat the 685's from brf hc but it should be close i think. Not worth upgrading the bad ones though, just wait out a bit longer to get another baleful trinket or the apexis to buy one. All chests and rares in Tanaan have a chance to drop Baleful tokens which provide iLvl 650 gear. For 20000 Apexis Crystals you can upgrade the gear to iLvl 695. That sounds like a lot, but Tanaan's daily quests give 5000+, and if you double up your garrison daily with a scouting missing you can easily get 7500+ Apexis Crystals a day. Tanaan actually gives ~11.2k apexis per day (not even counting any chests or drops), but you have to do four extra bonus events for the last 3200-3600 of that. On top of that +800 from garrison mission (12k a day) i'm getting about 1k a day from the mage tower and i've got 3-4 missions already for 1-2k apexis from the shipyard, insta-completed with the mage tower tokens whenever they're long duration :D you can do missives too, but i'm worried about garrison resources so not buying them ATM. So far i've spent like.. 40k apexis on boots, just trying to roll some with ideal stats because i have nothing better to spend it on - and i'l just grab the mount in some months time when we're still in Tanaan but i no longer have significant player power increases available to buy. I'm a MM hunter with 685 boots that don't have any crit on them and it's annoying  Considering upgrading my alchemy trinket from stage 4 to 6 (it's taking up my third crafted item slot) but i gotta sim that to see what difference it actually makes before going through 65k "worth" of upgrades on something that's in no way BiS | ||

I wasn't going to assume that level of commitment, though it's certainly possible. If you just do the dailies it's still 8k :D Also, there's a bird dude follower available from one of the reps at honored i think which doubles apexis gain from regular garrison missions. That can give you quite a lot | ||

Also, don't worry too much about what comes off when. You should only need to check garrisons twice a day at most (once in the morning, once in the evening). You can level followers faster by checking more often, but it's not really worth it. | ||

The idea itself is really great, it's something I'd enjoy if I could do it whilst waiting for a green light or one-handed whilst taking a piss. But logging in every other hour or so to drag and drop some portraits isn't really a great concept. | ||

Also the missions of shorter duration (15 min to under 4 hours) are too short IMO. 4, 6, 8, 10, 12 hours is good, even 24 for a long mission - but i feel the shipyard is too far on the other side of the spectrum with the 72 hour missions that have no notable reward. 8000 exp for a ship that's gonna get blown up soon anyway and a plate baleful item when i have a lvl 100 hunter and lvl 41 mage? Nty - but i have to do it to get completion credit towards the quest needed to advance my shipyard to best complete the legendary quest for insanely OP ring | ||

To level your dudes from when you get them, you have to do so many of those missions, it's nothing short of annoying. I levelled from 91 to 100 in one night, and my Shadowmoon Valley slaves had barely reached level 93 at that point. Well, maybe I'm complaining a bit too much about a game that I'm not really playing. ._. | ||
