That's fine, but i'm not sure who it's designed to help. One of my char has resource generators up 24/7, the other one never has them up and neither switch buildings really ever

I imagine it's primarily helpful for people who don't have multiple characters, and thus have more motivation to swap buildings as their needs demand.

The lumber mill already lost its GR cost a few patches ago.
And its to help new players who haven't planned out what they are doing.

Once you get a few Scavengers up you have more then enough GR but new players don't know this unless they look up tips, and most will not.
It ignores such insignificant forces as time, entropy, and death

If you're buying trait rerolls in an attempt to accelerate your acquisition of Treasure Hunters (which I am) there isn't much point to recruiting Scavengers since you'll end up with a few from the rerolls.

That's true if you hit 100 without any Scavengers, but I've never had that problem so recruiting additional ones wasn't ever worth it versus just keeping any I rerolled.

1) people are stupid when it comes to economics
2) as you said. Esp the time codes may well be obtained illegally (stolen credit cards)

It's just something that, on one of the highest pop servers, i see on a daily basis for a long time now. I didn't think it was odd before tokens but they're undercutting by huge amounts.

Selling 60 days for 25k is senseless when you can sell 60 days for ~84k at the height of token price, which occurs every day

Token price is only directly relevant if you haven't hit the token cap.

Well, there is also a way to make a fair deal for both parties with this. I sell 150% of one wow token for a 60day code, while 60days cost about 25% more than a wow token in real money. Everyone involved benefits.

If you want to figure out why people sell things for ridiculously low prices - don't even try.

It should set a general market value though, and selling under 1/3'rd of that is weird

Also, is it legal for people to sell CM/raid boosts? There seems to be a huge market for it, or at least a huge amount of spam. Some people do it legit and for ingame gold - but there's a lot of people advertising, offering to play your account or for you to just join their group with your char ("selfplay")

CM/raid boosts have been sold for real life money, other in game goods, stuff for other games for a long time. You only get perma banned if you're stupid like Leeds and decide to stream the run and show everyone that you're getting paid with rl money instead of gold.
