one guy kept going into at least 2 mines whenever he ded?  I don't really mind 6/7 normal progress, 2/7 heroic in first week at all - heroic is tuned for 15-20 item levels higher than us (and it looks like we can still kill half of it in this gear..) and the last boss on normal is obviously a pain in the ass, maybe even more so if you have a small group size. This is actually pretty damn fast progress, when everyone is 660 and has had 5 hours of practice on every boss, the heroic bosses will be dropping like flies - if there are any left. | ||

How do you guys deal with the small adds during the phase where 2 casters appear and Mar'gok goes away? Cause that's where we kept whiping and our healers kept saying that there is unhealable dmg when the small adds die in short succession. | ||

I think heroic is just harder in WOD than in MOP, or at least tuned more for stronger gear - i can't really say without having raided in MOP The adds during phase transitions are the hardest part of Mar'gok fight, at ~55% and ~25% health, but the 55% one is way easier to handle. We assigned tanks and some ranged to sit around where they spawn, highly limited damage output with one person dedicated to killing them AFAIK, like actual killing blows, damaging anything that's below ~20% health. That way you never kill more than 1-2 at a time, and you can handle them as they come - if you get 20 at once, you're gonna have a bad time We had assigned DPS, i think all the melee's, to just run over and nuke one mage, then the other one remember that the mages fixate on random people and hit everything within 5 yards of where that person is/was standing, use /range 5, don't stand near fixated people / have fixated people stand away from people etc. Use damage prevention stuff when you have fixate on you, because it's impossible to dodge the shots by running, at least at close to medium range (maybe dodgeable at long range or with stuff like blink) - fixate targets change every 10 seconds or so. They do a lot of magic damage | ||

the small adds need to be staggered killed, main raid dps the 2 ogre mages while just like 1-2 range dps+the tank tanking slowly kill | ||

But yes they have a head start and still lose :D This time Paragon are also back in the race in the big boy league (aka highest difficulty with most players) and will make the race even more interesting due to they are a top guild. | ||
