Pretty disappointed that this Raid-Tiers clearing speed is at least 50% attributed to 665 BoEs which every top 10 guild probably spend millions of gold for. Some of those players have 7 or more 665-BoEs paired with BMAH-Items.
Never before has a raid guild stepped into a endgame raid with such a high itemlevel (with 668/9) they are by all means equipped as if they ran HC for 3-4 weeks - so its not in the least surprising that they clear those bosses with the speed they do. (They probabaly wouldve killed them with 10 itemlevel less, sure, but it wouldve taken at least a couple of hours per boss)
Hope Mar'gok is as huge of a step up as it is on normal and hc - otherweise we'll probably see a 7/7 Mythic (if butcher is possible) by Friday.

But they did also run HC for effectively for weeks. The top guilds ran hc like 10 times, with only a few mains per raid to aggregate equip on them.

Yes exactly - *also*.
Gear-funneling is somethings thats been used for some addons now by the top guilds, but even that way you're far from getting your every raidmember full slotted in that raids gear. With 665 BoEs for nearly every slot available - those guilds now walk into an instance equipped like theyve never been before.
Which may very well be the reason why they are one-or-two-shotting several bosses.

Yeah haha, finally They were 10 item level on average behind Method when i looked at the average item level per guild on Tuesday so i guess they slacked on gearing up? I don't know.
Noticing the people who have been benched for kills in Method so far is not going to please some xD Fragnance - Leeds both benched for 2 of the kills so far. Twins and Kargath

Method took gear optimization into account for there first two kills;
3 Rogues 2 Mages 3 Hunters For their twins kill. 3 Rogues 2 Mages 1Warrior 1Monk dps for Kargath

To be fair on that, top guilds have been testing raids before they release since TBC so they've always had an advantage. The difference is back in the day Blizzard would invite certain guilds, whereas now any guild can do it on the PTR.
People don't seem to realize there's really not much difference in skill between a guild like Paragon and a random top 100 guild. The only difference is the amount of time that the guilds put in to the content, and that tends to scale when you factor in all the bad design decisions Blizzard has made (inflated gear levels, multiple difficulties). A guild that can put in 40 hours a week suddenly has a massive advantage over a guild that can only put in 20, and that's where you see the "top" guilds start to stand out.

Paragon finally decided to update WoWProgress and are 3/7Mythic as well. Wish there was an auto update for this incorporated into battle net by Blizzard TT

Do you disagree that inflated item levels and multiple raid tiers not sharing a lockout are bad?

Russians are also 3/7 Mythic now with there kill shortly after Paragon on Brackenspore!

You guys talk as if it matters to the average customer which guild kills which boss first and as if Blizzard should make design decisions with regard to these first kill guilds.

Serejai, do you ever stop bitching?

Haha, I don't even know why he plays this game. It seems like he just hates everything about it. Just do something that makes you happy, Serejai
