Heh, that's actually just a small army+mid sized army for him. It'll cost him a fort, but he still has probably in excess of 3-5k undead running about. I shit you not, he has way too many undead horsemen lying about. That was at best a minor setback for him. Fortunately I'm keeping a good thousand or two locked up on his peninsula patrolling against the threat of air-dropping, so those can't be sent to the front.

I am more or less already rolling over Arco entirely (just need to take sieged forts), I've forged and handed over the Forbidden Light over to TC to help him fight against Marignon/Sceleria, and I've got a communion that should be ready to cast solar brilliance on any additional army Sceleria presumes to send at me, even if my doomstack of wolfherds/Wans weren't ridiculously buffed as is with like 12 different major army buffs/alts and resistances, and I've got borderline SC Vans deep in Marignon/Arco/Lemurian territory.

Meanwhile Pangaea and Atlantis are beating the shit out of Pelegia.

Again, the question is can we capture their thrones fast enough before Gath/co react, because with their thrones, we have enough TPs to win. If not, the game got alot harder, though we're currently forting up on the border and if we dent them hard enough, we can win the 8v4.

And in any event, we're not going to LOSE anytime soon, and we can always fallback on my massive blood-sac campaign for a turtling dominion victory.

Again, just PM me for a turn/.h2 file so you can see the game in all it's ghastly, micromanaged glory.

Can I request a 12-hour extension on TL3? As you probably know I have some scripting to do ;-)

I probably won't need it and will do my damndest to get my turn in on time, but I may wind up not having a chance tonight and would hate to stale.

TLrand1 has a spot for one more player. Jay had to drop because he might die in Peru or something. Pm me if you are interested in the position and I will pm you the nation that you will be rolling. I'm turning off automatic start to mask whether the pretender submitted or not before Jay dropped.

Btw, we'll start with 7 in TLrand1 if no subs take the spot. The map will be a bit more open for people but it shouldn't effect too many things. (13 provinces per player instead of 12)

You've gotten enough free gold, I think.

The only reason you won that battle is that LA Man has no answer to Magic Duel. (Yes, I knew exactly what you were scripting.) Because Illwinter didn't see fit to give my nation any reasonable way to fight yours I'm encouraging others to do it for me.

Like I said: I won't win this game, but I am going to do my damndest to make sure you don't either.

First turn advantage and the fact that you stacked mages, so each magic duel kills multiple mages at once of yours made it look easy, yeah. Of course this is all Illwinters fault.

Yes, stacking mages was a mistake. But there's no thematic reason whatsoever for that spell to be aoe1, so I didn't check, although you're right -- my error for not noticing that it works in a way completely foreign to the fluff. Regardless, Man has no counter to Magic Duel whatsoever, and "first turn advantage" has nothing to do with it since I have to spend turn 1 casting communion anyway.

Still. I'm going to ensure you don't win this game before I go down.
