I never have to deal with them so everyone else is fine!" The reality is that a huge amount of people buy/rent games because of the fact that console games are incredibly over-priced. This also comes into play with the PS4 costing $100 less; a HUGE amount of money to the average person. Finally, there are huge swaths of the country that do not have a consistent, high-speed internet connection. The U.S. has one of the worst internet infrastructures in the developed world, so this isn't a surprise. Oh, and I already mentioned exclusives between the two. MS hardly has any leg up on Sony for exclusives, and multi-platformers will undoubtedly run better on the PS4, since it has better hardware. I would say that if the after 24 hours thing is true, then you really don't need to worry about "always online at least once every 24 hours." Maybe you do if you can't initiate a game, but if there really is a true leeway time of 24 hours before you're disabled from playing a game, then you should be fine. As far as the used game thing is concerned I really think that is where they fucked up. If I buy the game it is my fucking game, and if I choose to sell it I should be able to and they should have nothing to do with it. It is bad enough I have to pay for (imo) overpriced games many times, but attempting to dictate what I do with those games irritates me and I don't ever sell my games in the first place. And to your comment about multi-platform games it actually doesn't matter if the hardware is better on the PS4 the leap isn't that big and no game developer has yet to use this gen's consoles to the max.

Now... how many of those worlds will be completely empty and boring? That's the question.

maybe they're reworking the combat system? The world still looks incredible and the mech aspect seems meaty & interesting though
