Thats the really sad part. most of the game they showed at the ms presentation as if they were exclusives weren't actualy exclusives.
That's actually true as well for PS4. There are very few exclusives anymore because companies realize the benefit of going multiplatform. Sony still has a few and so do MS but a lot of what was being shown at both conferences were multi platform games.

I don't really mind the gameplay of FF15 so much as long as the story is great and the game design is good. FF13 had a passable battle system, but it was so lacking in the storyline department and the extreme linearity and the lack of exploration really killed it for me.
In a way, I'm longing for a return to the old turn-based ATB style of combat. I don't think it will harm sales in any bit if they decided to go back there. Unfortunately, publishers these days are always looking for flashy things.
I do hope that another FF title (or even a Chrono sequel/prequel) will appear which returns to the old roots of ATB battles, has massive open world explorations and tells another awesome story.

I could never imagine them going back to atb. there is too much downtime in that system, kids will get bored and turn off the game in the 5-10 seconds of waiting for someones gauge to fill.

I hated that battle system more than any other RPG I have ever played because it basically felt like "choose your stance and let game take care of rest so you don't cramp our style". The upgrade system they choose was a terrible version of the sphere grid that removed all the interesting parts of it including the ability to actually make for example Tidus a healer if you choose to do so by end game.
You are right about the story being bad but I don't blame overall story for that because I think overall story could have been good if it had been put in a world that didn't feel small barren and empty or was done by characters who were in the least bit likeable.

Yes it is.

Anyone have a link to a working stream? The Nintendo site's stream isn't working.
|
And here is the new Mario Kart.
|
The UK stream is much better, thanks

Jesus christ Ustream is so laggy, why is this website being used by Sony/Nintendo? Can't even see half of the games because it buffers every 10 seconds

Damn it Nintendo, the majority of people still don't know the Wii U is another system. I can still see some parents buying the new Mario Kart for their kids and being surprised it doesn't play on their Wii.

Why can't they just give me a new mario paint, I want to smack some friggin flies
