Where can i read up on that stuff? The Drusera quests seemed interesting but apparently i missed like most of them when leveling due to filtering out the wrong content, and i have not done most of the 5 man quests in blighthaven around nursery etc because i could never find a group for them

The raid devs actively making decisions making the progression raiding experience worse is pretty disheartening. If it was just the fact that DS was insufficiently tested, then that's fine. But it seems to be ongoing mistakes or at least a different philosophy than Voodoo expected. And thinking about the fact that it was still early in DS and the grinding that the next patch will introduce (extremely tight DPS checks + extremely grindy process for optimizing gear) could only make it worse... Hopefully Enigma sticks it out and blazes a trail for everyone else. I imagine if they stick through this part, then as they make a little more progress, Avatus will be too tempting and they'll have to finish, even if they plan to quit the moment he dies haha. There is a joke that the top guilds are the Raid QA team. It isnt a lie. We will stick it out. I know Fraya won't give up on this game anytime soon. My biggest pet peeve is they want this shit to take months to clear. Like there are bosses that we cleared that they are like, you shouldn't have killed yet. Thats why they nerfed CA. But now they are saying that the next drop, everything is getting buffed to the point where we are going to ROFLSTOMP the place...... Time will tell. Avatus is the last boss in DS. You see him through out the world as the Red Caretaker. So from what i have gathered is he is basically a virus in Caretaker. other than that, i dont know anything else. Never really been a huge lore person.

I imagine some of Voodoo's players who don't want to quit yet will take a free transfer to Avatus and join up? I'm very skeptical about 'buffs' in the next patch, but that's probably because I'm a stalker, if the 5 other classes all get nice DPS buffs I will not complain too hard that my class got shafted. I've gathered up the materials for 10 fluxes atm, so even if we get nerfed hard I should at least be able to do some pro min-maxing to make up for it :>

Stalkers are still good. Dont know what they did but our stalkers were able to still top meters, the classes are all a lot closer now, so they brought some up and others down. Nice i need to farm up fluxes myself. Dont know how many i need, but i think its a lot lol.

The bit about stalkers is surprising. Tumri from Enigma certainly seemed to think it was a substantial nerf. He quit the game the same day ![]() In short, our stance bonus is removed (permanent +18% damage) and AP is raised on weapons to make up for this. Brut also gives more AP. So far it's the same as Wars/Engis. However, because of Brut giving more AP, and Stalkers having Brutality Mastery, this would create an imbalance. So they nerfed Brutality Mastery as well (from 30 to 10%) and did nothing to compensate this. So we're losing 20% Brut here without any compensation... They also lowered all AMP/Ability percentages. E.g. Cutthroat did like 40% of your AP and post patch only 13% or something stupid like that. It definitely looks like a nerf and Plastic and some other Voodoo stalkers reported 1k+ DPS losses on PTR with same gear. Some of these losses are maybe explained by the different PTR dummies, I hope so.

Not surprised to hear that DS and the devs' magical "progression timeline" has had so many issues. Honestly the whole game seems like that. Warriors can't tank. Espers were randomly made mobile (optimal esper dps in beta was mobile one patch and the class dev made a strong statement saying that wasn't ok and made them immobile). Changed attunement to bronze. And now they're normalizing AP/SP and primary stats across classes. AMP/Ability Tier unlock changes. Just wtf. I feel worse for the few Carbine employees who knew about the mistakes and didn't have the power to do anything. At least if they would have just picked something and done it well.. but a lot of shit seems so inconsistent and unfinished. But I really hope you guys can finish DS with as few headaches as possible. And I hope some of those final encounters are badass. I assume they saved some of their best ideas for last.

Obviously people have very different ideas of what is happening and there are huge misunderstandings Pretty much best case scenario seems 2x20 man groups up next week, but it is chaos right now and it could easily be awesome or game ending for me and i think a lot of other people

We talked about it as a guild, a lot of stuff about being equals, splitting two groups 10/10 + 10/10 from each guild to get two groups through ohmna, having equal numbers of officers, essentially making a new guild together but in the end, we lost all of our leadership and seem to be more merging into them I don't think i expect unreasonable stuff, i want to raid ~minimum 3days/week (especially if it's not long raids) if i'm dedicating myself to this as my main game (i used to spend 50hours a week sometimes on other MMO's at times, so i feel sad if i can only spend 5-8 while having any kind of fun or amusement with WS..) i also expect to raid with friends (that i made through progression raiding..) and to have a fair chance of loot. If there is a problem with establishing those then there is probably a problem with me, too. I'd rather not sit back and watch stuff on hold for 2-3 weeks either, just because time is ticking away, but i can understand if there is some issues at first We went from a full 20 man raid with 2 tanks, 4 healers, several backup healers etc to this stuff in a single day, quite sad I do find it insulting that they have 9 stalkers and warriors - they say they can't take that many, but 8 of them are from IN and i'm the only one from Nosta. They are running a single 20 man raid with around 45 attuned people apparently, but i think in that case they should have just frozen everything, ran one raid group, took a week or so off and figured everything out. They're in the situation of "well we benched a bunch of our raiders last week, we need to give them a turn before new people" but that's not any of our faults. There are two planned 20 man groups for next week, but i'm bouncing between different people talking, trying to find all the pieces to the puzzle right now and figure out if it's even viable for me to raid with these guys. I'd like it to be, but this feels like being reset to application status for a guild that i would never apply to, rather than merging on equal footing with our own roots, officers and friends Apologies if this is a little ranty, i'm just trying to list my thoughts somewhere edit: Some stuff explained now and makes more sense, such as trying hard to kill ohmna this week because they had over 20 people and not all of their guys got attuned, they want to do it with the ones that got rotated out before splitting raids. They have ~45 people and 20 slots now, and also need to rotate people out to have enough tanks and maybe even double interrupts for convergence(?) without losing a ton of DPS. I'm gonna go raid today, probably kill phage+prototypes and one event, maybe ohmna later in the week but mostly just doing this until next reset where there is a ton of planning going down and rerolls etc to have two functional groups with actual planned out people

DataScape wasnt tested other than internally and a couple times on Beta. They had to push several updates out the first couple weeks we were in there. Had this great bug come up in the first week. I am a firm believer in the whole, play the game it was meant to be played. But last night i got really really bored. So I tried using the Gamma Ray bug that all the medics are using. HOLY SHIT! This is stupid. Like I am going back to the old rotation, but they need to fix that ASAP. Its super broken. To give you an idea of the difference http://imgur.com/4ci3KKb Anyway, I am 4 days away from Max Ability Points. Come on blightheaven rep

Honestly i would just use what's available. It's not the players fault - obviously best to avoid stuff for a day or two if it's really broken, but urgent issues will get fixed and stuff that's left in the game shouldn't be blamed on the users

One that 70% of medics use. This one entails, Double casting the super fast GR. Basically you cast the .35 Gamma Rays twice skipping the long 1.25. Most medics use this bug. And thats what i tried last night. Holy crap it was crazy. The other is what the medic bans, that is the casting discharge 8 times in 1 cast. That is do able, i know how to do it. and dont use that one. But yeah the Double GR bug, is stupid and needs to get fixed lol.
