With that, i would say the kills will be rolling in, soon™. But, there are many many DPS checks in Datascape from what i have seen. Gloom Claw alone takes a bunch of DPS to kill. I will be releasing our kill video here this weekend. We met the dps check, barely and i mean it was close. Just re watched the video, .6 seconds we had to to do 511k. With the CA nerf, raid dps overall went down a lot. The new Amp Ability Points will help. So I take it back, DS clear will be coming within the next month? *Fingers crossed* | ||

@Cyro: Yes, gear is getting reworked, but it's likely to mean that all that raid gear that you (should) have sitting in your bank will finally be better than crafted gear. I think this will allow people to still feel progression as they replace their blues with 4-slot purples. I know I'm excited to finally wear more than 1 piece of GA loot. I have an amazing chest waiting for me that just needs 2 more sockets to beat out my crafted. | ||

Kill everything, and thing final boss in the room. Kinda reminds me of Ulduar. | ||

All the people who never PvP, and have no PvP gear, are all spamming practice grounds for the ability points/amps. It's hilariously fun :D | ||

 got my 32k containment rep yesterday just as the patch hit, what timing  9k guardians of the grove left, and 7k prestige. One of my guildies got an AMP drop from PvP chest 1 hour after the patch, so hopefully the drop rates are reasonable now and I don't have to spend EP to finish. | ||

Downloading the game atm, intend on buying it after download. Coming from WoW and FFXIV, I like to play Hunter/Archer classes a lot; From what I gather, the equivalent of that here would be the Spellslinger? Do you think the game is worth it, for someone who isnt in yet? I've met a few people who bought a game under an impression and kept playing "just because he bought it", but if they knew better they wouldn't do so; What is the call of people here? | ||

Somewhat equivelant, yea. Spellslinger doesn't have pet though. I'm not sure what engineer and esper are like, so engi might be a little more what you are looking for. Play on Pergo if you're making an NA char. I think it's worth it if you wanna raid, like 3x3 hours a week or 4x4 hours / whatever. A lot of people spend most of their time raiding or doing stuff related to that and are not very enthusiastic about other content, i'd love to be doing gold dungeon runs ATM but i have nobody to play them with even though i know about 25 attuned raiders. Maybe some people will be up for attempts before raid time tommorow~ Would love to play with you NonY but i guess you are NA! HF, gold seems pretty hard | ||

Golds aren't too hard with good DPS and knowledge of all the mechanics... They're just sensitive. Like even if you mess up only 1 in 20 times on certain things, then multiply that by 5 to account for your whole group, and multiply that by how many of those things exist in a full run, and you end up failing here and there even though each individual feels like they're pretty good at everything. But once everyone gets comfortable and you figure out the safest way to do everything, you start knocking down gold run after gold run. It would be pretty easy if everyone in the group got the reward from a single run, but doing 5 gold runs on each dungeon is a bit of a task. So far I've only done STL and KV but guild members say SC and SM aren't any harder. | ||

I just bought the game last week. I was gonna do progression raiding with Voodoo, and I attended every beta raid, but I decided not to commit the time for progression raiding at release. I'll probably hop in an alt raid of GA or something once I'm attuned. | ||
