Don't use the logic of "I'll attack everyone before they attack me." Right now, you only want to raid for quick profits, so you shouldn't attack anyone active. If you attack active people and eliminate their current army, they'll just build it back up and now they'll have a reason to attack you. Chances are, if you stay big, no one will even bother attacking you. But of course, you should always get some spearfighters (no need for mass spear army though) just in case someone with horses wants to mess with you. You only need enough to deter the average cavalry raider, and focus on massing clubbers. Rams attack walls. Trebuchets/catapults attack buildings. If you upgrade your rally point, you can target all buildings, even resource fields, with catapults. The only thing you can't target is the cranny. However, if you set target to random, then there is a small chance that you will hit the cranny, so yes a cranny can still be destroyed. | ||
