I've been on the ball for new world record, but dropped said ball before the finish line. I'll get it eventually, but it will probably take me a few days. Trying again this weekend after Rael's epic 14 hour run tomorrow, so wish me luck. It's getting really freaking difficult. gl man i know you can do it

That is literally the only KH game I actually wanted to end. As for CoM i have no idea where my GBA version is. I have the crappy PS2 remake but lets be honest its better on GBA

Skyward Sword. Since his game is occupying a slot and I need the two other slots to run the game, I don't have a spare slot for backup Hero Mode, so instead I would have to complete the game once on Adventure Mode every time I want to do a speedrun (and you can't skip cutscenes on adventure mode so it would take forever)

For CoM (Riku) - You don't need to farm as much in GBA You have card duels in Re:CoM making every boss a joke GBA is technically quicker in both categories but Re:CoM requires much less skill On a final CoM note I completed my third ever run with a time of 4:20:03 - TWO MONTH SLUMP IS OVER!

I'm tired and going to bed. Sub 13 is possible and within reach, 12.5 with some good luck and closer to 12 with some more work on shortening disc 4. I honestly didn't think I'd make it that close to 13 hours on the first try, so it was a good run.

I'mma play an hour or two of Keen and then head to bed.

Honestly my biggest problem with 358/2 was how awkward the combat and controls felt to me. I may give it another play through then see what i feel about it. Probably the same with PS2 CoM I havent played it in so long I kinda wanna see how I feel about it again before I go for it

I guess since I do all my runs on a DS lite its probably not as bad as the 3DS / DS fat controls which I'm having to get used to for actual recorded attempts. As for CoM no one runs Sora's story in RE SS and Augora owns the WR for NTSC Riku although there is around 20 minutes of improvements to be made. I'd suggest running Riku since Sora makes every game look RNG tame in comparison.

Honestly theres a couple luck factors and its not that hard to beat beginner bots me and 2 buddies bumrushed right down mid in like 8 minutes. The thing that makes speedrunning exciting is part skill part overcoming mistakes or RNG then part speed of course, but beating beginner bots really require skill at least in my opinion
