Edit: I will say, I'm tired of all the off-stream vs on-stream crap lately.  Puts a real damper on the whole community(which I am, admittedly, new to) | ||

Aro is planning on releasing his video so hopefully that should settle it since it is really easy to tell a fake FF9 run from a real one. | ||

Most runners who are going to make attempts at a game that long will not do it without recording. The whole thing was only really allowed to stand because it had come close to being beaten a few times already and they knew it would happen. | ||

As far as WRs go, it should be as simple as this: If it's not recorded, it's not viable. Because if you can't verify, either someone well known can lie about records and people will believe them, or someone not well known can actually break one, and no one will believe them. Otherwise its just a bunch of people getting pissed off at eachother without anyone else knowing who the hell is full of it, lol. I'm not surprised this drama is common, but like I said, I'm new, so this and the thing with Spike yesterday was all I'd heard of it. | ||

Yeah just playing through it casually the first time I figured out that standing at a certain point in the mundus' spawn fight glitches out the ai and the boss just doesn't attack you. | ||
