Has anybody actually ever done a Speedrun of Final Fantasy XII IZJS (International Zodiac Job System) i would be very very much so interested in strats but i can only find normal FFXII runs and they dont help me at all because the board is different - battles are 2x as fast and treasures are completly different (no ez zodiac spear). Also is there a site that tracks the actual speedrun records? I dont mean a site like Speeddemosarchive which only accepts "perfect" runs but one where people just upload their times and stuff.

On track for 9:30-35 and then I couldn't beat the blasted dragon. After an hour I gave up. Will have another crack at it next week but goddam I'm sad. Going to practice the shit out of it so I can get sub-9 next week. On February 08 2013 09:43 Aylear wrote: Five hours in and Plexa is still live. And being pretty entertaining. He needs to fix his audio balance, though. I will make sure I fix that

I know that GS2 time will be crushed soon but your menus looked fast for a beginning runner. Yeah Plexa's menuing really puts me to shame. However I'm still in the rough process of routing - as seen in my VODs where I'm still figuring out a strategy for Terran 9. Also, I don't have much time to refine at the moment which sucks. Either way - http://www.twitch.tv/notyuna EDIT: Seems the VODs got deleted for some reason =/

Anyways I've been thinking about either a GBA game I could run on an emulator and fraps runs if I start doing well or KH2 just to say I have it learned. I just don't know what game to look into..... You can buy an EzCap + a few cables to stream SD consoles for ~$40 if you include the cost of the splitters and an extra RCA cable. AmarecTV is free, and streaming SD content is very CPU unintensive. If you have a gameboy player then you could easily stream it for a low investment.

There used to be an option in the twitch profile to automatically save vods but this option disappeared a while ago. You now have to individually save your vods. The CPU isn't the problem but the terrible and out of date integrated graphics card. And I'd honestly rather first decide on a game and get decent at it before I even worry about recording/streaming lol

For KH2 I have a 5:48 any% PB so I could try and help but I really suggest watching these videos for any%: http://www.twitch.tv/spikevegeta/b/362663409 http://www.twitch.tv/spikevegeta/b/360992921 Any other questions should probably be asked here since they know much more than me. If you want to learn the real category (All worlds or Finny fun%) you should try asking Puwexil as its a really fun category and what I want to learn once I've submitted a 358/2 run.

I set two new personal bests tonight. I've been on the ball for new world record, but dropped said ball before the finish line. I'll get it eventually, but it will probably take me a few days. Trying again this weekend after Rael's epic 14 hour run tomorrow, so wish me luck. It's getting really freaking difficult.

Thank Draz I'll probably start with just learning the basics and the route for any% since I know Spike did just make a tutorial for how to run any% so may as well learn the basics first then learn other things once I get those down.

I will be more than glad to teach you 358/2 and CoM if you are interested in those as well
