Most Combo -> Ultras do about 400 ish damage which is like 40-50% if you have a mostly fully ultra meter (when you're low on health.) Doesn't stop me from wanting a Combo vs Justin Grand Finals. :D Plus, I'm pretty sure FChamp will respect Justin's Wolvie/Akuma team enough to use Dorm over Phoenix as Justin's Wolverine usually opens up everyone and go for Phoenix snap ins. His Dorm/Doom lame play can shut down Justin's Wolverine rush down. And yeah, the mechanics of MvC3 don't allow for one mistake, as that one mistake usually results in death or very close to it. Hence why execution is just as much important as it is for other technically difficult games. Opportunities for big damage in AE come not through combos but primarily from the strength of characters who have mixup opportunities to do damage again after you knock down an opponent aka vortex. (Seth, Ibuki, Fuerte and AE 2011 Akuma are the best examples for this). Hence why those 4 are usually considered strong characters. EDIT: YESSS YIPES ON THE MIC! MAHVEL BABYYYY! | ||
